First Impressions:
As you arrive to the home you enter through a lush gated courtyard with an immediate view of the lake. The main entrance is located just a couple steps up to a deep balcony wrapping around half of the home with stunning views of the lake. We were sold on our new lake home at this moment prior to even walking in the front door. As you enter the front door you immediately see through a wall of glass in the living room that actually frames the view of the sunsets each evening - hence the name Sunset Shores.
Fun on the Water:
At Sunset Shores has some of the best waterfront amenities. A large deck over the water allows boating, jet skiing, swimming, fishing, entertaining, dining, sunning or just relaxing. A covered boat dock with electric lift & dual jet ski ramp with lift are available. Lower jet ski ramp for easy access for kids, dogs or sunbathers who just want a little water. The swim ladder enters into 2'-3' of water into a sandy base. My 2 year old can play here for hours. My 7 year old loves to jump off the other end of the dock into deep water. Perch, Drum, Catfish and Sun Fish have been caught with ease from dock. A separate outdoor cabana holds floats, water toys & lounge chairs for your entertainment. A basket full of beach towels and extra flip flops are provided for your convenience.
Family fun Anytime::
Once you come in from the water, there are still plenty of fun things to do inside. The downstairs game room is perfect for all ages. Amenities include a ping pong, snack station, large sectional with views of lake and satellite TV, game or craft table, art supplies, numerous books, board games, DVD collection, information on the area, stereo and wireless internet. The tiled game room is at lake level and allows easy access from indoor to outdoor fun all day. The adjoining bunk room has a 2nd downstairs living room with a cozy slip covered sofa, rocking chair, fireplace, TV and more toys. Upstairs on the main entry level of the home is a 3rd open living room perfect for more 'adult' gatherings with some of the best views of the lake/sunsets, comfortable seating for 11, vaulted ceilings, towering stone fireplace & easy access to the kitchen for drinks and hors d'ouevres. Slide open the two large glass doors to the balcony for a spectacular indoor outdoor space to be enjoyed year round.
