Great Retreat with Hot Tub and WiFi

This house is beautiful and maintained like a home and not like the typical rental property. It is quite well located being close to cross-country skiing and the clubhouse. We were very comfortable here with two families (four adults and two toddlers) and found the bedrooms, great room and kitchen all very functional and comfortable. The view off the back (esp. when sitting in the hot tub!) is quite peaceful and relaxing in winter. I highly recommend this one!

My family and I recently returned from a 10 day vacation to Northern Lake Tahoe. We had the pleasure of staying at Gordon's beautiful property. The best way to sum up our experience would be that it felt like a home away from home. In more detail the house was very comfortable, in a great location, very clean, had a good layout, was well equipped, and had a very nice kitchen. The WiFi internet connection was a welcome bonus, as was the spa after a hard days skiing.

Gordon was also great to deal with. The instructions he provided, via email and in the visitor's book at the house, proved to be well thought out and easy to follow. His suggestion to take our daughter to the nearby Tahoe Donner for her first time trying skiing proved to be an excellent idea.

Our family consisted of 4 adults and 2 young children. The house provided plenty of room for the girls to play and have fun (lots of good hiding spots for hide and seek). The area immediately around the house and the front balcony also proved great for making snowmen, having snowball fights and general fun in the snow for the girls.

We skied at Tahoe Donner (6-7 minutes drive time from the driveway to the carpark), Squaw Valley (22-24 min) and Alpine Meadows (27-29 min).

As you can tell, we really enjoyed the time we spent at this home and would highly recommend it if you are looking for a place to temporarily call home in Tahoe.
