Montenero-a medieval borgo overlooking thick pine forests ringed by majestic peaks. Its impressive castle is one of the few remaining in Umbria, a region of unspoiled beauty known as 'The Green Heart of Italy.' The village is also conveniently located just a stone's throw from charming Todi. Montenero has all the benefits of both a quiet countryside setting & a nearby, lovely old-world town with much to offer in shops, restaurants, art, architecture & plenty more. Casa Antonia is a beautifully restored apartment in a house which dates back 500 years as part of the original castle complex. There are 2 bedrooms, a full bath with shower & it will sleep 6. The large bedroom has a queen size bed & the smaller bedroom has a daybed with trundle. Also, the living room sofa converts to a double bed. The great room features a well equipped kitchen, dining room, and living room with skylight and fireplace. All furnishings and appliances are new. This apartment also offers castle views.
