This rental is within walking distance of Schroon Lake Hamlet. 20' dock space is available for boating enthusiasts. 51' of shoreline for swimming. Also, within walking distance of public beach, playground, basketball and tennis courts. The Golf course is around the corner from this site.

The Chalet and the main house next door offer plenty of room for a great retreat. The Chalet sleeps 6 and the main house sleeps 10. 20 minutes from Gore Mountain, close to restaurants and snowmobile trails.

This Chalet is one of two rentals on the property. The Chalet sleeps 6. This property is great for a family retreat. Comfortable setting.

Ski:

Only 20 minutes from Gore Mountain, this quaint Chalet offers an inviting propane stove to sit by after a day of skiing. It's a short walk to Schroon Lake Hamlet. Plenty of restaurants to choose from. It's a quiet retreat on a snowy night. It sleeps 6 and have a lovely view of the lake.

Terrific Week, July 2009

My husband and I spent a week at the chalet last summer and had a wonderful time. We had family guest come throughout the week and everyone loved it. The view of the lake from inside as well as on the patio is awesome. I cooked big breakfasts for everyone complimented by delicious baked goods from a local shop. The "boys" rented a boat and went fishing several time - great to be able to dock the boat right at the property. Neighboring vacationers in the main house were friendly. Chalet was clean - plenty of hot water for showers. Only problem was finding the town dump open. We are looking forward to another stay in 2010.

Chalet at Schroon

The Chalet was charming and inviting. My husband and I both have allergies and I must say this cottage was super clean. I would recommend this getaway to all my friends and family.

Great fun!

We have stayed both in the chalet and the main house and have enjoyed both places. The chalet is very cozy and we love the view from the porch. We found it very clean and all appliances were more than adequate. We can't wait to go back up! The lake is right in front of the chalet and although there are neighbors, still feels private.

Beautiful design

This cabin is absolutely beautiful! The spiral staircase and pine floors give this place some extra charm in the Adirondack woods. It is an ideal location for skiers, snowmobilers, boaters, fishermen and many other outdoor activities. For those who prefer the indoors, it also is a wonderful location to curl up inside and enjoy a cozy get-a-away, friends and family. Can't wait to get back there again!

A week to remember

Thoroughly enjoyed the two houses and dock. Lots of fishing; some swimming a litle cool especially for July--and we sure did eat well. Each family took a turn cooking dinner. Lots of tennis--a week to remember--which was the idea
