Without leaving home you can swim, fish, sunbathe, and enjoy outdoor games. Kyak from the private beach or bike along beautiful Shore Rd. 5 minute drive will take you to the other 3 areas of York and Ogunquit which offer many restaurants, antique stores, outlet stores, museums, multiple sandy beaches, walking paths, surfing & theater. Historic Portsmouth Harbor is 15 minutes south and is littered with shops, restaurants, pubs, museum, and harbor cruises. Shopping malls and movies are within 1 mile. 30 minutes to the north is Kennebunkport. 45 minutes to the north is Portland and it's charmed Old Port. 60 minutes to the south is Boston and 60 minutes to the west is the famed lake region of New Hampshire.

This home, and it's views are breathtaking. Looks like a postcard with the bold ocean crashing over the rocky shoreline. The charm of the owners manifests itself in this sanctuary by the sea.

A Wonderful Christmas!

After the death of my Dad this summer my family and I decided to do something different for Christmas. Going up to Maine and being in this beautiful, comfortable, family home was exactly what we needed. This wasn't just any house it was a family house. It is wonderfully decorated, comfortable, warm and for such a big house it is cozy. Everything we could have possibly wanted. I know the owner didn't order up the 2 feet of snow but the just made our view of the ocean even more magical. With the fire roaring and just sitting around talking it helped make this first Holiday that we were all dreading a special time we will never, ever forget.
