Toddy Pond - Conveniently located near Penobscot Bay and Acadia National Park. Lakeside cabin on 2,000 acre island studded lake. Great kayaking, canoeing, hiking, etc. Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, washer dryer, all linens included, direct TV, great views and sunsets. Outdoor fire pit, grill, lobster cooker, hammock. Very private, use of 5 kayaks and canoe included.

Nearest Airport: Bangor International at 30 Miles
Nearest Train: Portland, Maine at 140 Miles
Car: necessary
Located on Toddy Pond in Surry. Short drive to Blue Hill. Bar harbor, Acadia, Brooklin, Deer Isle, Sorrento and Belfast are less than a 45 minute drive away. Cottage is well equipped and situated less than 10 steps from the lake. Play in the lake or see the sights during the day. Relax around the fire pit at night and watch the sunset while listening to the loons.

Great Stay

A great place to stay. The place lacks nothing. Had great weather, kids swam almost every day. Kayaks were a hit. We even got to see the meteor shower the last few nights we were there.

The hosts are class acts and have given us the keys to a truly wonderful vacation. We hope to travel back here some day. We had a wonderful time.
Owner's Response: These folks were truly wonderful renters. Left our cabin spotless, picked up and even washed towels, etc. for the cleaning person coming in.

Glad you had a good time and if you ever need a reference for any future rental properties don't hesitate to contact us.

We stayed at the camp from July 29th until August 2nd. We loved it! It was very private, yet close to attractions. The nighttime is so silent and star filled it just amazed me. Suddenly sitting out on the dock you hear the loons calling. It echoes and is just surreal.

This camp was clean and very well maintained. We met the owners sister and brother in-law who were restocking the paper goods, charcoal, etc.

I would and have already recommended this camp to friends.

My favorite activity at the camp was taking off in the kayak or the paddle boat and fishing. We had fires in the fire pit, made smores and swam. The camp is 41 mins to Acadia NP and 15 mins or so from Bucksport. Scenic coastal trips are within an hour.
