Thermopolis is famous for Hot Mineral Springs and is the home of Hot Springs State Park which offers 2 commercial pools and one free State-run bath house with free access to the mineral water. Take a carriage ride through the park, visit the resident buffalo herd, fish, golf, raft or take a lazy float down the Big Horn River. Thermopolis is also home to a wax museum, a teddy bear museum and our local historical museum.

Yellowstone National Park and is a day trip from Thermopolis. The Wyoming Dinosaur Center is located in Thermopolis, view the museum and go on a dig. You will never run out of fun things to do, it is a very popular destination. Lots of sunshine and very friendly people will welcome you.
