Just 20 minutes from Waikiki and Honolulu, this gated estate is part of a very small class of exclusive Hawaiian homes that sit at the top of a cliff in Honolulu. This 3 story, 5,700 square foot home has expansive panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean for as far as the eye can see. While lounging on one of the 3 lanais or inside the pool or Jacuzzi, many have witnessed sea turtles, dolphins and whales pass by. The opportunities for amazement are endless at this unique home.

Most bedrooms have ocean views and three even have direct outdoor access with private lanais. The gourmet kitchen has such magnificent views you might find yourself too distracted to actually cook which won't be a problem since we are moments away from many restaurants including the world famous Roy's Hawaiian Fusion. You will find your stay here to be one you will never forget.

Honolulu: Honolulu boasts more world-class entertainment, dining at places such as Roy's fusion cuisine, shopping and nightlife than all of the other islands combined. Practically every outdoor activity imaginable takes place in and around this city. A visit to Honolulu's historic China town or the specialty stores at Kapahulu are just minutes away from our waterfront home. Waikiki, perhaps one of the world's most famous beaches, Hanauma Bay with its majestic coral reef, Pearl Harbor, where one of history's most famous battles took place, and the fortress-mountain of Diamond Head are only a few of the exciting locales situated in or in close proximity to this magnificent island city. Of course, relaxing peacefully on the beach or your lanai at any one of our homes, you would never realize that Honolulu shares the Island with you.

The Pacific island of Oahu, our personal favorite among the Hawaiian Islands. You can drive the coast of the entire island in about two and a half hours. Most of the population is concentrated in Honolulu. Oahu has more beautiful and secluded beaches than Maui and you can stay right on the beach in one of our homes.

  • CANCELLATION POLICY: Reservations will be fully refunded if cancelled more than 180 days from the start of the rental period. Cancellations made btwn 179-30 days will be refunded 50%. Cancellations made less than 30 days from the rental period are non-refundable.

    Minimum night stay required. Holiday rates may vary. Our security deposit is $1,000 and is refunded within 14 days after your departure if nothing in the home is missing or damaged.

    We require 50% of the rental balance at the time the reservation is made. The remaining 50% is due 30 days prior to your arrival.

This property is NOT what it appears to be in the photographs. There are SERIOUS issues with maintenance and overall property condition. We rented this home for a week and there were numerous problems with air conditioning, elevator not working, toilets overflowing, pool and spa pumps were not functioning properly and the general condition of this "luxury rental" was poor. BE ADVISED THERE IS A BIRD SANCTUARY NEXT DOOR WITH ROOSTER THAT CROW INCESSANTLY AND DON'T CLOSE THE GATE IF THE POWER GOES OUT YOU ARE TRAPPED.

The Koko Head house is located in one of the most breathtaking views of Diamond, sunsets, sea life (we saw whales & sea turtles on a daily basis). Waking up to the sunrise each morning is something we are not able to do where we live. The house offered a lot of "little extra" amenities (thanks for having the elevator fixed for my mother in law to use) - coffee & filters; a great welcome basket; baggies; etc. which I did not need to buy. My suggestion would be to add a door to the Master bathroom as it is used also by the person in the 4th bedroom. Also, just let people know it is next store to a person who loves birds (peacocks; roosters, other birds) as that background noise is not for everyone.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

The Kokohead house is a beautiful, one of a kind, luxury home with one of the grandest views in Oahu. Ocean waves, whales, green turtles, and the sunsets behind Diamond Head cause me to resent any time that I spend away from this lovely spot. Over the last ten years I have stayed at several of the beautiful locations that The Best Spots offers. Every time I have found a great property in a ideal location. The Best Spots is aptly named! Staying at this fantastic location has spoiled me to the extent that I am reluctant to go anywhere else because it would be a let down.
