Divide is in a wonderful Mountainous area, close to Woodland Park (15 minutes) and Cripple Creek (10 minutes) If you want to take a trip on the cog rail train or drive up to the top of Pikes Peak, see the caves, falls or visit the Garden of Gods in Colorado Springs - all is within 30 minutes of Divide. The mountain views in this area are outstanding.

Victor Gold Mine/ Cripple Creek Casino's: There is so much to do in the area. The Victor Gold mine is one of the largest Gold Mines still in operation in the United States. Mine tours are available. Or visiting some of the haunted areas in these Mining Towns. Hike till your drop, fish till you drop, shop till you drop. The Casino's offer a whole lot more than just gambling - some excellent restaurants and shows.

Colorado Springs Area: So much to do. Colorado Springs is about 1/2 hour away. Visit Garden of the Gods, Seven Falls, the cave and don't forget the train ride up to Pikes Peak - get the view from on top of the world. Shop in Manitou Springs or Old Colorado City.

Canon City : If White Water Rafting is of interest - then you've got to make your way over to Canon City - approx 1 hour. Also near Canon City is the Royal Gorge Bridge - something you have got to see and do for yourself.

Other Activities: Gambling Casino's in Cripple Creek, Multiple Hiking trails, Mueller State Park

The setting was beautiful, however the cleaning could've been better. Especially the vacuming and sweeping.
We could've used more:
Glasses, dishes, kitchen towels,
There was no charcoal or lighter fluid, no batteries in the flash light or the remote controls.
The grate in the fireplace was difficult to keep wood in well as the spaces between the grates was too wide and burning wood kept falling thru to the bottom.
LOVED Colorado Springs and Manitou Springs was our FAVORITE!!! The views to die for...soooooo wonderful!

this place was more than expected! Fantastic is all I can say, I'm in a very stressful job, and the week my family and I spent there was one I will always remember. If it's a get away your looking for to relax?, This is the place. Close to everything listed here, and more! Directions were a little difficult to follow, but the cabin,, well worth it! Thanks Mike and Maggie! You'll be hearing from my family again!!

What a wonderful view! My kids loved the place! We enjoyed everything about it! Would recommend for any and all ages. The cabin is just how it is descibed. Good place to stay if yoy want piece and quiet! Thanks for a great family vacation.
