This 2 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath condo is 700 yards to the beach. Enjoy a true island setting among huge live oaks in the best location on the island to anything you want to do. It's a short walk or bike ride (4 free cruiser bikes on your patio) up the sidewalk to the beach at the Old Coast Guard Station (public white powdery sand swimming beach, about 300 yards wide, gets deep very gradually, drive and park in free public parking lot if you don't care to walk). This is also close to Massengale Park, a beachfront public park on Ocean Boulevard with swings, big shade trees, grills, and picnic tables.

Easy To Beach: Property is on Demere Road, St. Simons Island, Georgia 31522. 700 yards to the beach. Walk or bicycle, sidewalk all the way, or drive. There's a beautiful pavilion built 2008 with rest rooms and a staffed bbq restaurant at the Old Coast Guard Station, and about 300 parking spaces, all free. Or, enjoy the pool at the condo (closed in cool weather months).

TOTALLY THRILLED

This was our best vacation yet. My husband and I brought our 4 sons down to stay at this condo for the 1st week of June. It was very comfortable for all of us. everything was so close by. We really enjoyed riding bikes around the island. the best part for me was the beds. They had the nicest most comfortable mattresses, we all slept like logs. The owners were very easy to get in touch with if you had questions regading things to do or places to visit on the island. Best was all of the fishing advice they gave for my son, who could not get enough fishing. I don't think we could ever dream of vacationing anywhere but here.

ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS PLACE!

The location was perfect. It was closer to the beach than I was thinking, we biked to the beach one morning but drove the others only because my grandparents could not make the walk. The condo was just beautiful. It was very clean and well maintained. It has more than enough space for everyone, we never felt like we was on top of each other. It was very close to all the shops, restaurants and pier. This place is a must stay! I promise you will be very pleased with your stay here. We are already looking at dates to come back. The owner is super nice and very helpful. Definitely will be making this place our family vacation every year. The price and location is just wonderful.

ADEQUATE

We were fairly pleased with the condo. Everything about it was adequate: location, cleanliness, decor, etc. beach is about a mile away, not 700yards. Parking lot is cramped and traffic right outside the condo is loud and constant, as Demere is one of the main roads on the island. We never used the bikes bc the village and beach were too far for us to bike to with a little one.

EXCELLENT PLACE TO STAY

This condo was comfortable, clean, well-equipped, and in a perfect location for our visit to the island. Me and my seven friends were easily accommodated by the house, and every day we enjoyed a mere five minute walk to the beach, with was quite pretty. The condo is also located close to both the village (which is good for going out to eat or store-to-store browsing) and the larger town (which is good for groceries and other necessities) but its not so close to either that traffic or pedestrians are annoying or overwhelming. A great place to stay in a great location, I highly recommend for anyone who is looking for a good place with a great price.

Notes:
A reserved marked parking space is just 25 feet from your door. The entire condo floor and baths are done in 20' porcelain tile, so the whole condo is mopped with pine-sol after each tenant. The only carpet in on stairs for safety. A charcoal grill and wrought iron table and 6 chairs, and 4 bikes, are on your patio. No pets or smoking indoors.
