This beautiful beach house has a brand new private in-ground pool and hot tub for the summer. The home is nestled between the beautiful marsh on the rear of the property with the beach just across the street. You will love the new open floor plan with lots of bedrooms and three decks for everyone to enjoy. Three of the bedrooms have their own bath. Two bedrooms have doors onto sun decks. The house is called Marsh Retreat because of the deck and screen porch overlooking a large undeveloped pristine coastal marsh area in the rear. Central HVAC. Outside shower for when you come off the beach. And everyone will love playing in the brand new beautiful pool and relaxing in the hot tub. Washer/Dryer. Half the price of ocean front but only across the street. This is the closest beach to historic Charleston without the traffic headaches of Kiawah, Seabrook, Wild Dunes, Isle of Palms or Sullivan's Island.

Guests check-in on Mondays at 3:00 and checkout Mondays at 10:00.

Charleston, South Carolina is one of the most visited cities in the US, always voted in the top 10 best vacation destinations in the US. Folly Beach is the closest beach to Charleston and is widely recognized as one of the top 5 surfing beaches on the East Coast. After a great day at the beach there is ample night life in Folly Beach or you can drive the 10 miles to Charleston for 5 star restaurants, antiquing, shopping, visiting historic homes and plantations, the aquarium. Fishing is world class too with plenty of guides to assist you inshore and offshore or just walk down to the pier or fish from the beach.

This home is very spacious and just a quick walk to the beach. On the end of the island and in a cul-de-sac so no traffic. Great for families. We had a large family get together there and with the hot tub and pool, we had plenty of room. Would go again.

The Perfect Retreat

Our stay at Folly Beach was absolutely fantastic! This house has plenty of open space and large bedrooms. We had 14 people in our group and we all enjoyed the large gathering space on the main floor and the privacy of our rooms when we needed it. The hottub and pool were definitely a major amenity! The outdoor shower has hot water (something you don't see too often). This "Marsh Retreat," as it is named, is very clean and well maintained too. We were just a short walk (100 yards away) from the beach which made evening walks and morning bike rides very easy to do. The house is only 8 short blocks from the center of town where you find plenty of local shops (got to check out Bert's grocery and McKevlin's Surf Shop!) and restaurants (i.e.,Folly Beach Shrimp Company and Rita's Cafe). We had a nice, fully-equipped kitchen and even had a charcoal grill, making our family get together a memorable time. Finally, if you stay at this house, you will most definitely enjoy relaxing on one of four porches...the ocean breeze and starry nights are incredible! I highly recommend this property for your next beach vacation.

AMAZING Vacation Home

This house was perfect! The house and bedrooms were very spacious and arranged in a way that keeps noise interference at a minimum. I loved the balconies off of each bedroom! Perfect for watching the sun rise and sun set. This house isn't on the beach but it is tucked back on a private drive and is only a driveway's length walk to the beach. The house is equipped with a large kitchen and amenities to prepare home cooked meals for family and friends. The house also has a charcoal and a gas grill perfect for cook outs! If you don't feel like walking 100 feet to the beach you can lounge around the private swimming pool or jacuzzi. My family and I had a wonderful vacation at this house. Folly beach is an awesome vaca destination with a great local vibe. I would recommend this beach and beach house to anyone looking for a nice get away.

Great house, great location on Folly Beach!!

We stayed in this house for my daughter's 16th birthday. It was perfect. My daughter and her friends stayed in the huge top floor bedroom. We had other family members visiting who all had plenty of space in their own bedrooms on the second floor. My husband and I stayed in the master bedroom on the ground floor. This place has so much space!! Plus it is right across the street from the beach with the beach access directly in front of the house. We stayed there before they had the pool and jacuzzi put in and will definitely stay again in order to enjoy those also. Another great thing about the location is it is a short walk to the county park which has lifeguards and concession stand. I would - and have - recommended this house for others to stay in without a doubt!
