Handy to ruins and beaches

Great location - found it on Google Earth from the shape of the pool and drove right to it in our taxis. Our group was a grandma, grandpa, 2 daughters, 1 son-in-law and 3 grandkids aged 4, 6 and 8. The villa was perfect for the 8 of us: nice layout and well maintained. The pool right off the patio was a real bonus. Our onsite neighbour, Alan, was an added bonus; he was our on call beach shuttle, tour guide and a wealth of knowledge about the Yucatan and the local area. We all walked to and from town for several meals - El Rincon Chiapaneco was a hit with adults and kids: local cuisine, very affordable. The kitchen at the villa got a lot of use as well. The staff take great care of the property and guests. We were treated to fresh coconut drinks from trees on the property by Miguel and his 2 sons. Malu, the property manager (?) checked with us a couple of times to make sure things were going well. Booking the villa with Lucy, the owner, was smooth and not complicated. We would recommend this VRBO rental to anyone planning a vacation to Tulum. Nice place, great value.
