Moot Point Cottage is privately sited on Goose Cove. The front of the cottage has a deck overlooking roses, perennial gardens and Blue Hill Bay. The cottage's large windows offer views of the ocean and fields with apple trees. The first floor is comprised of the entryway, laundry room, large open kitchen with dining area. French doors open onto the deck. The kitchen has granite counter tops, an island with 5 burner gas cook top, warming oven and breakfast bar. The living room features floor to ceiling beach stone fire place, cathedral ceiling and large windows looking out to Mount Desert Island. Completing the first floor is a study with queen sofa bed. The room opens onto a private porch with table and chairs. The second floor features the master bedroom with queen size bed. The tiled master bath is equipped with double sinks and jacuzzi tub/shower. Just down the hall is the third bedroom with double bed and full bath.
Moot Point Cottage is set on a point overlooking Blue Hill Bay and offers breathtaking views of Mt. Desert Island and Cadillac Mountain from the deck. Nestled in a quiet setting, the cottage is surrounded by apple trees, forest and fields that abound with wildlife; including deer, fox and bald eagles.
The area attracts visitors from all over the world for it's ocean views and outdoor activities. The island's many trails and ponds invites visitors to hike, bike and kayak. If it's the ocean that attracts you try a whale watching tour, sail on the Margret Todd, take a ferry to one of the outer islands for a picnic, or go deep sea fishing. Bar Harbor offers shops, restaurants, theaters and plenty of night life. But you may just prefer to sit on the point and soak up the sun, swim off the rocks, kayak around the cove and relax on the deck, enjoying the view.

$2,500. per week payable as follows:
Half of rental cost ($1,250.) due upon signing of lease.
30 days prior to rental separate checks due: remaining cost of rental,
7% state rental tax and $700. refundable damage deposit.
Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency (USD) unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.
