The diamond you have found is the Jockey Club, a modern luxury condo/hotel with 24 hour security, concierge, and a reservation/timeshare center to help book tickets to dining and entertainment. Jockey Club has a lovely outdoor pool, dining and outdoor sitting area, sauna, hot tub and fully equipped gym. Also there is a sister hotel to the Jockey Club (the Grand) only a couple minutes away which offers their pool and area for free if you show your room key.

Note -- there is construction around the building and in general on the strip in Vegas. All hotels are effected by this but you should hardly notice as this building is very quiet and Las Vegas is so outstandingly dramatic to your eyes and ears that the work projects seem to blur into the background.

What to do: You could spend a lifetime in Las Vegas and never have seen it all. For starters: The Bellagio has a free Waterworks show within 2 min walk which is spectacular, also they have a gallery of fine art and botanical garden The Las Vegas strip is filled with non stop action and you will be happy to be right in the middle of it. We look forward to having you stay with us.

We rented the property in Sept 09 and had not been told by the owner of the amount of building work being done in constructing the City Center project. The apartment lovely but pool dwarfed by high rise so no sun and dust and grit from building work which commenced at 4 - 30am.A friend who stayed nearby in August had concerns but when I enquired from owner was told no problem. Ok for short trip if sunbathing not required but we were on 14 night vacation and feel a reduction was in order for the inconvenience.Owner ignored my e mail on return.
Owner's Response: Construction has almost been completed and soon the guests at the Jockey Club will have full access to a brand new pool at the Cosmopolitan resort, which is going to be spectacular.
Unfortunately in Sept of 2009 construction was in progress and disrupted what could have been a perfect day at the pool.
The Jockey Club guests were giving access to as sister properties pool at the Granview which has a geogeous pool with water fall etc.
Our pricing is about 50% off other large condos in resort hotels units which have grand pool areas, such as the Mandalay Bay
For those looking for a large pool sunbathing resort we have other condos in las vegas with these facilities

We take our guests comments very seriously and always make correcting any problems that may arise our first priority

A great place!

This was a great place to stay, especially if you have a family. Everything was very clean and in perfect working order. The pool and gym are open 24 hours and there is a little store (not cheap) next to check in. The only thing we found was that it was a ways to get out to the strip-two elevator rides and a walk past the pool and around a couple of corners-it took awhile to figure out which way to go! It'll be great when all the construction is finished, too. However, we didn't hear any of it in our room-the place was very quiet! A great deal for a great price!

We stayed in this condo over New Years Eve and had a wonderful time. The condo is nicely furnished, and clean. There is some construction noise but there is a lot of building going on in the area. The owner was prompt in responding to us and very helpful.

Excellent condo--Lousy Jockey Club

The condo we rented was great. The rooms were well furnished and very clean. The condo was easy to access from the front lobby. The staff that called for taxi's etc. were all polite and courtious. As for the people we talked to about the pool area customer service is not their strong point. If during the next two years you need a place to stay and do not require a pool but want a top of the line two bedroom condo right on the strip with a great location this is a spot to stay. I shall return to this spot in two years when the nearby construction is finished and a pool is made available. All in all we had a great stay with five adults and one small child. We had the use of a pool at the Flamingo which saved the holiday. Just a minor hiccup to a great vacation stay of 10 days.
