This delightful home in the historic West End of Aspen, has the charm of a Victorian with comfortable, cheerful, contemporary furnishings. It is the ideal spot in Aspen for those who want to vacation without being car dependent. The free Skier shuttle stops across the street and takes you directly to any of the four ski areas which include Aspen Mountain, Buttermilk, Aspen Highlands or Snowmass. Everyone in the family can get to the slopes independently or walk 3 blocks to the downtown area. Across the street is a childrens playground. All around is an adult's playground with some of the finest skiing, hiking, fishing, shopping and dining, music, film and conferences in the country. Click on calendar below to check availability. This house has the best location: You don;t even need a car! Taxi from the airport (6 minutes) and then say goodbye to cars for the rest of your vacation. The free skier shuttle (which takes you to Snowmass, Aspen HIghlands or Buttermilk) stops 25 yards from the front door and you can walk to any spot in town. The public bus takes you down valley to the golf course, airport, Aspen Recreation Center, Cross Country Ski Center, Basalt, Carbondale, GLenwood Springs. You can walk to the pharmacy, grocery store, hardware stores and all the restaurants in town!
