Chateau / Country House, 6 Bedrooms + Detached Unit, 4 Baths, (Sleeps 22-25)

Bodega Beach Estate was built in 1996, it is a large, Non-Smoking, six bedroom house and a separate large studio suite with kitchen and bath. The estate is located just steps from a low-banked, sandy/pebble beach in the Georgia Straight. Open gourmet kitchen, dining, living, and reading room layout. Built in post and beam-style, with 10-14 foot ceilings and walls of windows that provide a 180 degree view of the beach, island coastline, Georgia Straight, British Columbia Coastal Mountains and the lights of Vancouver.

The estate itself is 20 acres, however it is situated in a ten square kilometer (km) forest, secluded and very private. Ten person hot tub sits on a deck in front of the house and shares its incredible view. Pond-style filtered and chlorinated pool just beside the house has a large, Tarzan-style rope swing. A very large grassed and netted playing field is perfect for driving a golf ball, playing a game of baseball or soccer. Several yards, gardens, and decks to enjoy.

This place is perfect for a romantic getaway, family reunions, retreats, and weddings. Catering and cleaning services, confidentiality contracts, helicopter tours, fishing charters, whale watching tours, kayaking, and scuba diving lessons can all be arranged.

Most amazing family holiday!

We recently stayed at This amazing house. There were 17 of us, 7 kids and 10 adults. There was so much room, and so much for the kids to do. I never once heard the dreaded "I'm board!" the grounds are beautifully kept and the view was breathtaking!! We saw whales 3 out of the 5 days we were there, right from the deck. Our holiday was the first week of September and the weather was awesome! Sunny and hot. We explored the island and found many great things to see and do. The people on this island are so kind and helpful. There just really is not one negative thing I could say about this holiday destination. From ferry ride in to ferry ride out, it was by far the best time we could have hoped for. We are planing to return next year!!
