Want to head to Martha's Vineyard or Nantucket for the day, the passenger ferries are 10 miles down the road in Hyannis. Walking distance to the Dennis-Yarmouth High School for the summer Cape Cod Baseball League games (a great way to see the next best players!), antiquing, great stores, lots of kid's activities, golfing, boating & the Cape Cod Rail System for biking & hiking are all within 10 miles around our home!

Should the weather be rainy while you're here, there are plenty of board games, cards & books to enjoy while you snuggle inside the warmth of the knotty pine Family Room. Plan on coming for a visit when the evenings get chilly? There are two beautiful wood-burning fireplaces that are the perfect place to relax & enjoy a good fire, roast some marshmallows or share a romantic glass of wine with someone special. Your four-legged family members (maximum of 2 dogs only, please. No cats) are welcome to enjoy their vacation as well. We have provided 2 large dog crates for your use when you are out of the house. Lovely Cape Cottage

This lovely house has been lovingly restored and beautifully decorated. It is obviously a home, and not just a rental. We were thrilled to be able to bring our canine family member with us, and to find everything we needed just waiting for us. The fenced yard was great for the kids as well as the dog. The location was quite convenient, and offered plenty of bad weather/April vacation activities such as mini-golf, bowling and movies. It's proximity to the Pancake Man was a real plus!

Walking into the backyard of this rental began the feeling of pure relaxation that was continued as we walked into the house. Long Pond Cottage has a great layout that offers a dining room, a family room and a living room with a great selection of books, The master BR has its own bathroom, and the second bath is shared by the other 2 BR. The property is well maintained, clean and the kitchen is stocked with a variety of dishes, and cookware. The owner has information on many local restaurants, sightseeing and other activities that are in the area. I would highly recommend this property to my friends and relatives. The location is very central so that you can spend your time enjoying the many things that the Cape offers, as well as spending time enjoying this lovely home.
