Policies:: 1) Check-In: Saturday thru Saturday weekly rentals in the summertime. Check out 10:00 am; check in 3:00 pm. A personalized escort is scheduled to give you a tour of the property. Fall and spring rates are flexible. 2) Pool Area: Please keep gates locked at all times. Always lock the gates behind you. 3) Lake Access: Easement (Right of Way) only to the shared access to the lake. This means that you can not use the dock or the lake swimming area (public swimming areas are located in town). You can however use the easement for access to the lake and the use of our mooring ball. Boats are welcome. 4) Pets: Sorry, absolutely no pets. 5) Cancellation: We understand that emergencies come up. We will make every effort to rent the house and return your deposit if able.

Policies (cont.):: 6) No Smoking: For the comfort of all guests, there is no smoking permitted in the house. This rule is strictly enforced, our security system can detect cigarette smoke and will alert us. 7) Children: Well behaved, supervised children are welcome. Please encourage your children to respect nature by leaving it exactly as they found it. 8) Large Groups: No large groups (8 max) without prior approval. We ask you to respect our neighbors by keeping noise to a moderate level. They will do the same for you. 9) Cars: 3 car maximum.

Great family getaway on the lake...with a pool!

We just wanted to say that we have been back for a couple of days now and still miss the beauty and the tranquility of the Lake. We are very jealous that they get to live there year round. We had a wonderful time.

The house manager, Erin, is very sweet and very accessible. We loved the lake and the town was great. We especially enjoyed going to all the beautiful waterfalls and gorges in the area. Our big thing is to see and swim in waterfalls. We went to about 7-8 different ones and we swam at Robert Treman State Park and Fillmore Glen State Park. We thought the food at Doug's and Blue Water Grill i town was great for kids and adults alike. Both of our families loved the boat ride on the beautiful mahagony boat the Judge. We even got to share it with Billy Baldwin who was very nice to my wife. Overall it was one of our better vacations. The house is not right on the lake but rather has great lake views and a right of way if you want to moor a boat on the water. If you own or want to rent a boat (easily done but not inexpensive), it is one of the cleanest lakes in the entire country and not crowded at all. Wonderful for fishing, swimming or just floating around and forgetting your troubles. The house is very clean and neat and comfortably sleeps 6-8 people. The pool is entirely surrounded by a large lush green hedge that affords a wonderful privacy while the upper decks afford a great view of the lake itself. All in all this was a great time.
