Heighten Your Savannah Experience

When your eyes well up as your airplane lifts off the tarmac on the soil
of Savannah, you know you've had a great vacation. You don't want
to go home and this townhome is a large part of the reason why.
Staying here is "being in historic Savannah", not some hotel room.
In addition to it's lovely decor, it's clean, quiet, and has easy access
to many sites whether on foot or by car. We did have to park our
car on the street, but never had trouble finding a spot during our
weeklong stay. It is in a safe area. We enjoyed walking just a few
blocks in the mornings to Forsyth Park. Mrs. Wilkes Dining is within
walking distance also. If you don't walk some, you will miss the beautiful courtyard gardens of these fabulous homes. However, going to Tybee Island and River Street at night did require our car.
Our big suprpise of the trip was the Harper Fowlkes House. It's not advertised as much, but the chandeliers are worth the admission price
alone.
Passed on the Lady and Sons due to its lengthy reservation and eating lines. We opted for the Olde Pink House and what a treat. Great food, and dripping in history just like Savannah herself. We could go on endlessly regarding the dining, beauty, and charm of this
hospitable city. It's just as intriguing at night as it is in daylight.
Each night we were able to come back to this great townhouse.
We are grateful to the owners for sharing their stylish home. Alex was accomodating and offered suggestions. It was great to relax
in the "home like" atmosphere, preparing for another day of fun.
There's nothing more we could have asked for other than to stay
longer!
We would certainly stay here again, as there is more for us to see
in this beautiful area. We will return to Savannah!
