Scruggs Harbor is a charming and historic landmark dating back to 1928. It is like going back in time to a calmer and more serene setting. The two main cottages are directly on the beach and you step from your cottage onto the sand. Front windows across the cottages offer continuous viewing of this beautiful beach and her many changes and moods.

Each Non-Smoking cottage is decorated tastefully and comfortably and has all you need - just bring casual clothes and a bathing suit. It is truly a relaxing get-away and our many guests come back each time they need to unwind, feel the sun, walk the sand, and just generally getaway. We have plenty of parking, a rare commodity on any beach, and we welcome families, friends, and just folks from everywhere. We've also hosted some great weddings and reunions.

WE have a shuffleboard court on the beach in front and a sea going kayak for use, Plenty of rafts, balls, noodles, toys, etc, Also, beach chairs to take down on the sand

This is a charming and historic beach front place that is slowly disappearing from the Gulf landscape. The places are well kept and unique. Everyone is so friendly and helpful and you feel like you are with family. I take my family here often and we always hate to leave. It is very clean and nicely furnished. The beach is at your front door and there are no high rises in sight. It is centrally located and Indian Rocks Beach is a great walking town with lots of parks and good restaurants. I would recommend Scruggs Harbor to anyone who wants to just get away, enjoy peace and tranquility and have an experience that is becoming more uncommon all the time.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Pet-friendly, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, People with Disabilities, Romantic Getaway
