'YELLOW CREEK CABIN' A very secluded creek side cabin within 14 miles of Robbinsville. Come to “Yellow Creek Cabin” and step back in time while preserving all of the conveniences of home. Located on a private road, you can be sure this is one of the most secluded listings you will find. From the front porch you will enjoy seeing no cars, no homes, and no people while listening to the noisy trout stream that meanders around you. From the family room window you can watch trout rise in Yellow Creek a designated North Carolina trout stream. We are also only minutes away from several hatchery supported waters. Our cabin is HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE, all wood, thoughtfully decorated Appalachian style cabin. It has two bedrooms each with queen beds, two full baths, and a queen sleeper sofa. It also offers a large fully covered porch facing the trout stream. Beside the stream there is a fire pit, park style charcoal grill and eating area (kids bring your wading shoes).

Nature Vacation

Outdoor Adventurers Columbia City, Indiana
Review Submitted: April 2, 2009 Date of Stay: March 2009
The vacation at Yellow Creek cabin was great. The cabin is extremely clean and well kept and beautifully decorated. Everything was just as stated in the description. We felt at home the moment we arrived. Use of the creek and campfire was much fun with nice views. Their is a lot of outdoor activities: fishing in Yellow Creek or other creeks/rivers/lakes nearby, hiking (we went on several trails including the AT), the Dragons Tail, Cades Cove, Cherokee Reservation, Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest, and the Great Smoky National Park, only to name a few (we did them all in a weeks time). Yellow Creek Cabin is a gem in an isolated mountain region, we hope to come back soon.

I can only say good things about the cabin and location. The cabin was even better than the pictures and the creek was so soothing.. The cabin at Yellow Creek has everything you could need from fishing poles to firewood. Very comfortable!! If you are looking for a relaxed atmosphere, then you will find it there at the Yellow Creek Cabin. The owner's were wonderful and we hope to return in the near future.

Not for Motorcyclists

C70 Medina, OH
Review Submitted: October 7, 2009 Date of Stay: September 2009
This cabin is beautiful inside and out and has every convenience. The owners are very nice to work with. However, the 'lane' to get to the cabin is a nightmare for bikers. There were two or three washed out areas coming straight down a hill which make it pretty much impossible for two riders to be on the bike without fear of dumping it. And no my guy isn't a wimp, he's a very strong body builder. After riding down the hill when we arrived on Saturday night around 7 p.m., we quickly decided that I would walk up & down the hill rest of our trip. This was frustrating for my boyfriend and scary for me when we got in late at night. Had the drive been nicer, I would have rated this stay 'excellent.'

Owner's Response: Response to review "Not for Motorcyclists" I tell my motorcycle guest that if they are on a big bike they should be experienced. They should approach the hill on gravel drive with caution. Extra passengers may need to walk up and down hill. After heavy rains I try to correct washed area as soon as possible. We have had return motorcycle guest. Thanks: the Owner

Yellow Creek Cabin

Gen Star Umatilla, FL
Review Submitted: March 24, 2009 Date of Stay: March 2009
The cabin at Yellow Creek was full of charm and detail. It was decorated beautifully and everything was there with us in mind. Being able to step out to the creek was wonderful and very peaceful. The kids had fun in the creek and we enjoyed going to the Smokey Mountains to hike. We would recommend this cabin very highly. We loved it and plan to go again.

What a sweet little cabin. We loved it! We always try to pick a creekside cabin and this one fit the bill perfectly! I enjoyed listening to the creek at night sitting out on the porch and the fire pit right next to the water was a joy! Hope to come back again to see the fall leaves.
Thanks for letting us stay.
