Waking up to the White Sand and Crystal Blue Water

Villa Azure is a magical place... having arrived after dark, we didn't truly get to see our surroundings until we awoke to the sun shining over the crystal blue water and the glistening white sand, all so close from the super comfortable four poster bed.
It's a perfect place for fun in the sun, no matter what your vacation objectives may be... quiet and solitude(most of the time), romance, adventure.
The Villa is well maintained, clean, and had all the amenities and supplies we needed during our 8 days there. We cooked many of our dinners in the Villa, and there was no looking for anything, as the kitchen utensils were extensive, and we took advantage of the 2 grills most nites.
The Villa is truly a beach house, and as such has the comfort and maintainability needed without being pretentious. We felt very comfortable in the place.
The proximity to Rum Point, simply added to the curiosity, as there is usually something going on over there. I do recommend, as Jim had mentioned to me, that if you aren't into loud music and your view being changed by lot's of partying boaters, then you need to find someplace else to go on Sunday, which we did, but even returning just before sunset the party was still going on for many. The beach walkers were either non-existent most days or less than 10 per day in front of the "semi-private" beach, thus it's not like you have the whole beach to yourself.
I do recommend going to Kaibo Yacht Club and beach bar. We especially enjoyed the Tuesday barbeque with live Carribean music, where we found ourselves dancing on the beach under the moonlight. We also enjoyed eating in the Lighthouse Restaurant one evening, and Over-The-Edge in Old Many Bay is also a great place for lunch or a casual dinner.
We did find we took the long drive back to Georgetown and SMB area more than I expected, and this was primarily due to some strong east winds making the snorkeling tough on the north and east side of the island. It's about a 50 min drive to the far end of SMB.
The villa is not close to any grocery shopping so plan ahead for food and drink.
This is great place for a honeymoon no matter what your age... or you can simply pretend it's your honeymoon! ...and if frozen drinks are to your liking, the 2 blenders will come in handy, just make sure you buy some bags of ice, as you'll use up the ice in the ice maker very fast.
Enjoy Grand Cayman and Villa Azure!
