we loved this place and hope to go back next year

we stayed for two weeks and enjoyed the cleanliness and comforts provided at this condo. everything we needed to prepare meals was provided. barbara was available by phone or email if we had any questions. it can be a little noisy late at night BUT we were a block from Ocean Drive, so it will be noisy. everything was walkable! a little cuban coffee shop around the corner..restaurants, very affordable nearby, rhe Publix grocery stroe. For us, and what we were we looking for this is THE spot! maria and ric

Fin leilighet med flott beliggenhet

Alt som står i annonsen stemmer. Leiligheten passer veldig fint til to par. Den har alt man trenger og var ren og fin når vi kom. Dialogen med eier var veldig bra og vi fikk all informasjon vi trengte. Ellers er det kort vei til stranden og Ocean Drive. South Beach er et pulserende sted og det er ikke stille i gatene, men du har vel ikke tenkt deg til SoBe for å få kontakt med dine indre følelser?

Ville vi bodd i denne leiligheten igjen? Helt klart!

“HORRIBLE CONDO! AC & Street NOISE. Not worth it

I booked this condo for 4 nights from December 22 to the 26th, The owner sent me a video link of the apartment. It is an old Video. Furniture is so old that we were scared to sit on it as we felt it will break anytime. I arrived on December 22nd with my father who traveled from Sweden to spend Christmas Holidays. First night we arrived late in Miami tired so we went to sleep. The second night of Dec 23rd when the real disaster started. The air conditioning (AC) in the rooms are very old. Probably never serviced full of bacteria. My father whose bed was right in front of the AC got the blunt of bacteria. Both the ACs in my room and my dad’s room made so much noise that the entire night we could not sleep. My bedroom was right over the street and the entire night the street noise keep coming even being on the 4th floor. On December 23rd we were both sick and complained about the noise of the old AC plus the noise from the street. Plus how old was the furniture. We called the owner she gave us one hour to move out to get the refund. We scrambled to find a hotel nearby for higher rate.

The owner should have told us that the AC makes noise and the bedroom is over the street with noises coming the entire night. Had we known this we would have never rented it. All the reviews posted are by herself or friends. It is impossible that no one noticed the AC noise, old furniture and huge noises coming from the street. Impossible. My father went back to Sweden sick because of the bacteria he caught from old air conditioner. HORRIBLE disaster. Vacation Ruined. Do not rent this condo or you will be sorry forever.

Owner's Response: All guests prior and after this posting have a very different opinion about this condo, which by the way is my second home. All furniture, fixtures and appliances are functional and operational. I have been advertising on this website for over 7 years. It is a lack of respect to accuse my guests and me of lying and posting fraudulent reviews. The air conditioning unit is only five years old, filter are changed regularly. The compressor of the unit is located on the roof of the building, the noise level of the condenser located inside the apartment is normal and nobody ever had complain about it. I just posted a picture of the unit to prove it. How could they see bacteria coming out of a central air conditioning unit? How can someone get “a blunt of bacteria” while in bed from an AC vent which is high up in the wall close to the ceiling? Our building is located in the heart of South Beach, there are people in the streets at all time, there are restaurants and clubs and there are lots of cars, it is a lively and noisy city, if they were looking for a quiet get away South Beach was a wrong choice. Abbiamo passato 8 giorni in questo appartamento e ci siamo trovati benissimo. La posizione e' favolosa, Collins Avenue e' la prima parallela di Ocean Drive, a 100m dalla spiaggia e ancor meno dai bar e locali. Le foto dell'appartamento sono corrispondenti al vero, all'interno non manca nulla, asciugacapelli, ferro da stiro etc. Sono disponibili una lavanderia ed asciugatrice professionali in un locale a 2 mt dalla porta dell'appartamento. La proprietaria Barbara e' una persona squisita, facilmente contattabile in caso di necessita'. Il parcheggio all'interno del condominio e' una comodita' irrinunciabile. Il giorno in cui torneremo a Miami non avremo dubbi su dove prenotare.

Amazing place, best location!!!

I stayed in this condo with my family and a friend of mine for a week. The place has its own private parking which is a real bonus in Miami. The location is fantastic as the flat is 1 minute walk away from the beach...literally! Shops, bars, restaurants and clubs are walking distance. You will find everything you need in the condo just like you would in your own home including hair dryer and iron..no need to take them! The kitchen is well equipped. The owner is lovely, reliable and very helpful. I would highly recommend this place.we will definitely return on our next visit to Miami! Thank you Barbara! We loved staying at your home!
