Well equipped 2 bedroom poolside cottage with 1 bedroom annex situated 25 minutes drive from faro airport, and close to the rural town of Sao bras de Alportel. Spain is only a one hours drive away and the nearest beaches and golf courses are within 30 minutes. Choose a quiet tranquil holiday here around the secluded pool or visit nearby resorts such as Villamoura for the Algarve night life. Ideal base for the bird watchers. Fully equipped with sat/TV, DVD, cd, air-condition units to bedrooms in poolside cottage (optional extra £15 per week) maid service. For alfresco dining enjoy your BBQ in the gazebo with seating round large family size table.

The poolside cottage has one twin bedroom , one double bedroom with en-suite shower room, both bedrooms have air condition units at optional charge of £10 per week for both units. Sofabed in lounge. There is also a second shower room, and fully equipped kitchen. The annex apartment (bookable only with the pool apartment) has one twin room with fitted ceiling fan, Sofabed in lounge fitted ceiling fan, fully equiped kitchen/dinning area. Shower toilet room

The rental rates include a maid service by the owner, basic starter pack including wine, playing cards and board games, books and magazines and all linen with the exception of beach / pool towels. Car hire is essential, we can arrange this for you so please enquire at the time of booking. The owners Pat and John are in residence in the main villa and will make sure your stay there is made as enjoyable as possible. Rental rates are based on four persons sharing poolside cottage , extra persons @ £50 per week either in the annex or poolside cottage . Ideal for large family or friends.

Superb holiday, best cottage we have found in the area to date. John and Pat really make you welcome, always on hand to help but not "in your face".

Accommodation is comfortable with plenty of space. Ideal for a lazy holiday by the pool, and central for exploring the surrounding countryside.

Would recommend property to anyone, after we have booked our dates for next year.

Plenty of good places to eat on any budget, O Graciano steak on a stone delicious, Avenida good food and plenty of it. Chinese and Indian restaurants are excellent.

Be back for more next year- thanks again John & Pat - loved it.

Back for the 8th year on the trot in August

Pat & John are friendly, lovely people, they make you feel so welcome, it's like going home. The cottage is all you would want for a great holiday, with all the home comforts including dvd's and board games. The kitchen is well equipped, and everywhere is lovely and clean. We have had many members of our family with us on holiday, they all love it and it's a fight to decide who will come with us every year. You do really need a car to explore the area, but the restaurants (especially Chicken Louis) are near and handy and the food is delicious. The local supermarket stocks all you will need, beer and wine are cheap and in plentiful supply, we have spent many a good evening round the pool enjoying Pat & Johns company. The whole experience has been brilliant every year and we will book up again with Pat & John before we leave this time. Overall it is a lovely holiday with lovely people. Thank you both very much.

Everything you could want from a holiday rental.

Pat and John who are just next door make you very welcome, on arrival they provide you with a welcome hamper. There are books and DvD's, board games and playing cards for your use if you so wish.

The accommodation is spotlessly clean as is the surrounding pool and patio areas. John cleans the barbecue after you have used it, the bins are emptied regularly and you are provided with fresh towels on a regular basis. Linen is changed and the accommodation is cleaned and they succeed without imposing on your privacy.

Pat and John were always able to advise on places to see or routes to take. They are a very friendly and warm couple who provide an excellent service.

I highly reccommend this property to anyone, a car is necessary for getting around the place.

Nearby there are restaurants and a large supermarket.

Lazy days.

Pat and John make you most welcome. We have just booked for the third year on the trot.
Swimming pool is warm and kept to the highest standard.
The cottage is very comfortable and has everything you need. We used poolside BBQ most nights and John even cleans it ready for the nextday. Good places to eat in Sao Bras and a large supermarket for all the wines and beer you need. A car is needed to explore and to get to the beach approx 15 minutes. Get in quick to avoid disapointment, but not before us!!!!
