3 bedroom 2 bath, sleeps 6-8 private master bedroom, fully equipped kitchen

Two hours north of Atlanta -Quaint town of Murphy NC, golf course near by, great location for day trips, white water rafting, waterfall finding, gem mining and antiquing. Log home with tasteful rustic furnishings, high quality mattresses and bedding, large flat screen TV (with DirectTV) and DVD in the living room along with two story stacked rock gas fireplace- no need to chop wood! Private Master bedroom has flat screen TV and DVD and fireplace. Master bath has double sinks and jetted tub. Upstairs loft has a reading area and game table complete with board games and small library of books to choose from. Enjoy rocking on the large covered porch while steaks sizzle on the grill. Take a picnic down to the private pavilion at the river and catch a trout. Go to a Trout Farm and make sure you catch some for dinner. Fully equipped kitchen - from crock pot to griddle. Washer and Dryer. Downtown has Farmers Market on Saturday morning for fresh fruit, produce and local crafts.

John C. Campbell Folk School- year round classes in the old world arts. Andrews Train Station nearby. Hiwassee Lake has marinas for boat launching, fishing supplies and boat rentals. Drive the Blue Ridge Parkway for breathtaking views. Stop by the river and take pictures on the rocks. Great antiquing all around. A waterfall map at the cabin helps you find great hiking trails with a waterfall as your reward for the exercise. Sliding Rock is fun for those hot summer days. Gem mining is great fun for the kids, they can get their hands dirty with your permission. Trout fishing is a great photo opportunity with the kids and you get to keep the fish - they'll even clean them for a small fee. Great on the grill. Southeastern Tennessee is just 30 minutes away. Horseback riding nearby in the shady hills. Craft community in Brasstown offers the opportunity to shop with the artists. Whitewater rafting on the Nantahala and Ocoee Rivers. Nantahala national forest has great hiking.

We stayed in this beautiful cabin for our first ever "Friendcation". Three couples met to enjoy a simple, relaxing week. We had an amazing time in a breathtaking location. The cabin surpassed our expectations and we might not ever find another to rival it.

Perfect Cabin

Amazing Cabin. My husband and I and our 2 little girls have enjoyed this cabin time after time over the last year since we discovered it. We love sitting in the rocking chairs taking in the spectacular views. We used the fully stocked kitchen repeatedly!, it was wonderful. Best of all was working with the lady who rents this cabin.... she's a sweetheart... Thanks for letting us stay here, and being so flexible with us... we love this beautiful place.

Amazing place!

We stayed in this wonderful cabin in July of 2010. The views were gorgeous and the cabin was spotless, comfortable and welcoming. We were visiting family so did not spend as much time as we might have wished in the cabin, but finally got them to come up the mountain and see (the teenagers wanted to hood up to the internet) and they were amazed. The wrap around porch offers a terrific view of the valley. It's at the top of the mountain -- in a beautiful community. We shopped in Andrews and Murphy, went to the movies, visited Cherokee, hiked in Franklin, and took a wild (and cold) rafting trip down the Ocoee. We want to come back this year.
