Come and enjoy the beauty and serenity of the Green Mountains at our cozy farmhouse in Stowe VT. This 100+ year old home has been completely renovated and updated but still has many of the original detailing of its farmhouse roots. Located on Rt 100 (Waterbury Rd) - about a 5 minute ride to the center of Stowe village and Mountain Road - this beautiful farmhouse is nestled on 2.2 acres with views of Mount Mansfield. Behind the house, enjoy the beauty of your own swimming pond, 'Vermont' green grass and quiet evenings.

Stowe Village is a quaint old town with old fashioned mercantile, great restaurants and shopping. We are about a 15 minute ride to the Stowe Ski Resort which offers year round activities for all ages. Come in the winter months to ski the East's premier skiing and snowboarding resort with some of the best trails in all of Vermont.

Enchanting place

I spent a week with friends and family at this property the last week of 2008. What a beautiful location, how clean, warm, comfortable, and well appointed. It is located atop a hill with a large pond in the back on a large lot. After a day of skiing coming back to this propertty was a blessing. Sitting by the fireplace in this quite location was so pleasant. This place made my vacation beyond my expectations. We had a wonderful time and look forward to going back. Thank you so much for making your house available to us.

Comfortable House with Beautiful Views

We rented this house with another family for the week between Christmas and New Years. It was extremely clean, comfortable, well appointed and is in a great location to access many ski resorts and outdoor activities. It snowed every day we were there and sitting by the fire in the family room after a day of skiing or snow shoeing, watching the snow fall outside the big picture windows was so relaxing and beautiful. Everything about the house was inviting, the beds are extremely comfortable and the location, even though it is up from a main road, is very quiet. The whole rental experience was very easy and Louisa was very responsive. We would definitely rent this house again.

Perfect Family Farmhouse for Any Season

The photos only partially describe how beautiful and large this house is! We spent a summer weekend here with another family, as our kids had a sports event in Stowe. We were thrilled to have such a perfect place to relax and enjoy Stowe. We spent lots of time in the backyard as the kids played in the pond, played yard games, or played in the enormous game room. The inside is beautifully decorated, well maintained and very clean.
There was plenty of space inside for dining, cooking, relaxing etc. for both families.

The location is close to the town-just a short 5 minute drive down the road.

Communication with the owner was great and she was very responsive & easy to work with .

We absolutely loved the home and would love to return in the winter to enjoy the mountains sometime. But it was nice to experience this home in the summer too! We didn't want to leave.
Owner's Response: Summer is wonderful Stowe! It is actually my favorite time of the year here - even though the skiing is awesome! Thank you - Our house is cozy - we consider it our home!

Great ski vacation in Stowe!

I went with a group of friends (7 people) for a long weekend in Stowe. This rental was cozy and beautiful. It is close by the slopes and the town center, but far enough away from the excitement that one can really sit back, relax, and take in the views. The house was quite clean and well maintained, and the owner was very friendly and helpful. It felt like a home away from home! I would definitely rent here again if I have the opportunity.

Beautiful Home in a Great Location

We just returned from a great stay at this Stowe home. Our party included four adults and four children. We all loved sitting by the fire at the end of the day in the spacious and comfortable living room. The kitchen and dining area were large and well equipped to handle our needs.

The detached playroom was a great bonus. The kids loved the air hockey table and Wii games.

The house is very clean and ideally located. Close to Stowe center and only fifteen minutes to the slopes. The owner was very responsive and easy to communicate with.

I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
