This beautiful, very private apartment retreat, with separate outside entrance, is located on the walkout level of our hillside home, on a quiet canopied lane in Hot Springs Village. Your hosts, Jim and Jill Anderson and resident retrievers, Grace and Mac, will do everything possible to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Forest Glen is just the place to relax and enjoy the wonders of nature that abound here! Take the forest walkway to this special place, where the sounds of the woods and stream below offer serenity and peace for your special vacation. The apartment features a lovely sitting room with efficiency kitchen and soft, comfortable places for reading and relaxing. The king sized bedroom and bath are spacious and well appointed. The large covered lanai off both bedroom and sitting areas provide for comfortable and private outdoor living, year around.
If you will be travelling with friends, be sure to ask about adding on our new Sunny Oaks 'Casita Style' Studio (VRBO property #254539), another wonderful oasis in the forest that is easily accessible from Forest Glen, yet with it's own private entrance and 'cabana' deck. Sunny oaks features a sleeping alcove with queen bed; an efficiency kitchen; sitting area and bath. Just below the house, there is a woodland walkway leading to a forest deck that overlooks the stream. This deck can be accessed from both Forest Glen and Sunny Oaks. It's a peaceful and serene place to enjoy the abundance of nature.

The location is ideal for those wanting easy access to all Village amenities, including golf courses, fitness center, trail systems, outdoor pools, tennis center and 12 beautiful lakes! Our quiet lane is a great place to take a “walk with nature” as it loops around thru the forest and back to your starting point..... exactly a mile in length. Along the way you may see deer, the red-tailed hawk, a turtle or two and lots of wildflowers. You may hear an owl and much conversation among birds in the canopy above. Forest Glen is 'dog friendly' and we will warmly welcome your travel companion, providing he/she has good house manners (no destructive or disruptive behavior). A small pet fee is required.
