Sea Mist is the absolute perfect location for a Jamaican getaway.

This three bedroom, three bath home is literally next to the beach. These photos are accurate but they don't really begin to describe how fantastic the beach is. It's long, it's wide, it's clean and most of the eight days we were there, it was sparsely attended.
Our three kids enjoyed the beach immensely and though it's not one of those beaches where you can walk out forever, it's everything you could want in a Caribbean vacation beach including tide-pools, rocks, great local people, and tranquility--we saw maybe three speedboats and two planes the entire vacation and not one jet ski.
The house was more than comfortable and spacious for our family of five and Jasmine, the new cook and housekeeper at Sea Mist, was kind, generous, knowledgeable, and a brilliant cook. She went above and beyond to make us comfortable and well fed.
We can't say enough about Ashley and his contribution to making sure our trip was wonderful. Every day he helped us arrange memory making excursions around the Island and around Duncans. He was generous, thoughtful, enterprising and kind. And yes, his Jerk Chicken is divine.
The same can be said for Joe Brown, our knowledgeable, kind driver to and from the airport and on our outings of a few hours to all day trips. Ashley, Jasmine and Joe treated us like family and made our vacation stay easy, enormously fun and worry-free.
Staying at Sea Mist, we felt we got to know a bit of the real Jamaica and it was an experience we would look forward to having again and again.
