Romantic housekeeping cottage for couple or single person, rural atmosphere, 2300 feet above sea level bordering Catskill Park, grounds overlook Mohawk and Hudson River valleys on north face of Windham/Highpeak Mountain. Many outdoor activities and cultural events. 7 championship golf courses within 25 min drive (3 within 10 min) offer reasonable greens fees and leisurely play. Superb fine dining at 'Local' prices. Many summer/fall concerts, festivals, arts and crafts fairs, flea markets, galleries, antiques, amusements and attractions. BOOK NOW FOR AUTUMN - Spectacular autumn foliage. Hike the mountain trails. Drive, bicycle or jog scenic roads for a peaceful, relaxing sojourn during the Catskills breathtaking fall season. Excellent birding on property and nearby preserves. If you are traveling to Windham, there is no need to research further. This is the place to stay for couples or friends retreat. We talked all the way home about the wonderful time we had. Firstly, Winnie & Patrick are wonderful, sweet people, that made us feel more than welcome. Privacy was important to us, and we certainly got that. This cottage is extremely clean, super cozy, stocked with everything you would need. We loved all the mom and pop shops around, antique stores, beautiful mountains. Windham is beyond beautiful. We had a great time & we were talking about a return trip to this cottage before we had even gotten home.
We highly recommend this cottage.

I can't say enough about the cottage. Delightful property very clean and well maintained. All sorts of hiking/walking/activites close by of varying degrees of difficulty depending on your mood. Very secluded so that you really get the feel of being away from it all. Winnie and Patrick were fantastic hosts and are only too happy to offer their advice on the area. In fact...I wish I was back there already...!

Lovely Cottage in the Catskills

This cottage is just perfect. The owners were very friendly and made us feel right at home. The cottage is just a short distance from Windham and hiking at Catskill Park. Saugerties is not too far away either. The grocery store in nearby Cairo had all the ingredients we needed for in-home meals as well. The cottage has a beautiful porch, awesome kitchen, comfortable bed, and so much more. I'm glad we stayed here instead of an impersonal hotel. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a great Catskills experience. I would love to go back!
