Our rustic, comfortable log cabin hideaway features a master bedroom (queen size bed) and loft (double bed) which is great for children. The location is private, yet convenient to all of the activities and amenities in Boone, Blowing Rock, West Jefferson, Blue Ridge Parkway, and the New River. Spacious living area features wide pine board floors, and has a sleeper sofa (double bed), TV, VCR, and DVD with additional seating for your comfort. The dining area has an extra large table with room to accommodate a family. The kitchen is fully furnished with all new appliances, and the cabin also has a laundry area with large capacity washer and dryer. A large shaded deck and covered porch are features you will enjoy. You can relax on the porch swing or in one of the rocking chairs while taking in the mountain breezes. The deck is also perfect for outdoor dining. The Blue Ridge Parkway is within hiking distance. From this cabin you will enjoy the views and the changing seasons.

We had a wonderful time! The cabin is so nice and the setting is just beautiful.....We would like to revisit sometime when we can enjoy the surroundings a little more - it was cold!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this wonderfull log home, far from the hustle & bustle of the city. We couldn't have asked for a more relaxing setting as we explored all that the Blue Ridge mountains had to offer.

And, as residents of a Big Ten football town (W. Lafayette is home to Purdue University), we extend our hearty congrats to the Mountaineers of ASU (in Boone, NC) for kicking some Michigan butt in the Big House (34-32)!!

Back on subject ... we would recommend this vacation rental to anyone who enjoys the peace and quite of of a serene mountain setting. You won't want to go back home after a vacation stay in this well appointed log cabin.

From the moment we stepped onto the porch and looked out over the beautiful mountain view, we felt the peaceful nature of this cabin. It was cozy, relaxing and we had a great vacation. We definately plan to stay here again!

Your cabin was absolutely wonderful. The inside was warm and cozy and we loved the outside deck. There's nothing like relaxing and "rocking" on a front porch! It was in a beautiful location, yet close to West Jefferson and Boone. We were so excited to discover how close the cabin was to the Blue Ridge Parkway...right up over the mountain ridge. Our entire week was simply perfect. Can't wait to come back.
