Nice, but no extras

Condo was like a spacious hotel suite. Fairly close to Disney and a nice property. Condo was stripped of anything that would make one's stay better. While there were dishes and pots and pans, there was nothing to assist in food preparation and cleanup, except the simple basics on check in. We received one (1) detergent packet for the dish washer, but nothing to use for quick clean-up, i.e. Dawn dishwashing detergent. No cooking oil. Even the salt and pepper shakers were empty. No magazines, books or dvds, although there was a dvd player. No coffee filters, except one filter packet we received on arrival. If you want to do any cooking, you need to bring everything. If you are only fixing pizza or getting take out and bringing it to condo to eat, you are fine. Otherwise, forget it.
Owners were pleasant to deal with and made payment at front office convenient. Furniture was nice, but mattress in master bedroom sags and should be replaced.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your comments. I hope I can address some of them for you. Bahama Bay is a condo resort with each unit privately owned. The standards are extremely high and require compliance with local State Laws. Hygiene and health and safety are of paramount importance which requires all foodstuffs to be removed between rentals. There are full cooking facilities available to all. It is a fully equipped condo and does require a little effort on behalf of the renter to shop for provisions such as food and cleaning materials should you wish to cook at home!
The beds will be replaced in December.
DVD's are available for your use at the clubhouse (Superb range of choice) which is just opposite the small shop equipped with all the necessary provisions.
There is a superstore just 5 minutes away. Disney is 15 minutes by Vehicle and is easily accessible. Magazines are removed by cleaning staff, it is a requirement..Sorry!
