Friends Lake in Chestertown, is part of the Lake George region of the Adirondacks. There are a tremendous number of amenities in the area. There is fine dining at the Friends Lake Inn just a few tenths of a mile away. Chestertown has a small movie theater (summers only) and cute shops. There is Cronin's golf course (10 minutes away) located right on the Hudson and championship courses within 30 minutes. There is also wonderful shopping at the outlet center in Queensbury, just 20 minutes away. In the summer, the delightful city of Saratoga with it's racetrack and the Performing Arts Center (S.P.A.C.) is just 40 minutes away and well worth the trip. The towns of Lake George, Bolton Landing and Diamond Point are all nearby and offer many amenities as well.
