Master bedroom w/jacuzzi in bath, large loft sleeps 5. Maximum # of guests: 7

Cozy up in this mountain view log cabin located at road's end. Comfortable, secluded ~ it's a real getaway from it all! If mountain climbing is your thing, you're going to love it here! The cabin has a front porch that's great for bird watching, a screened-in porch and a large deck~ perfect for using the gas grill and eating outdoors. The kitchen is fully equipped with anything needed to make a meal and clean up. The living room area has a comfortable leather couch, matching leather chair with footstool and a double recliner. A 32' television with HD satellite service and VCR/DVD player. The large master bedroom has a king sized bed, the master bath has a jacuzzi, a washer and dryer. Upstairs in the large, L-shaped loft ~ one single bed, futon that sleeps 2 and a full sized bed that sleeps 2. A small bath with shower is also in the loft area. FREE FOR OUR GUESTS ~ Internet service and long distance phone service.

Snuffy's Shack is located within a few miles of the North Carolina border, approx 8 miles from Hiawassee and approx 20 miles from Clayton. Lake Chatuge and Hiawassee River are both located within the city limits of Hiawasee. Helen GA, a Bavarian village, is a popular tourist spot and is located about 20 miles from Hiawassee. Kids and adults enjoy the water tubing in Helen. There are several winery tours in the area. Ruby Falls, Toccoa Falls and Tallulah Falls are beautiful waterfalls nearby. There are many, many activities in this area, enough to keep you busy for a while!

The full sized bed is located on one end with a small bath and an outside door that leads to a balcony. There is a dresser with mirror for storage and futon that makes into a double bed in the middle area. A twin sized bed is on the left side of the loft. There are books to read and games to play.

Greatest vacation dealon the web!

My wife and I really enjoyed celebrating our 22nd wedding anniversary at Snuffy's Shack. This cozy little cabin had more than enough to make the weekend great. The views out of the cabin are beautiful, it was very clean and well kept. And you can't beat the price. I highly recommend this cabin.
Recommended for:  Adventure Seekers, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Hats off to the designer & decorator! What a beautiful place! We enjoyed the comfort, the setting, the view and all the provisions. We would have loved to stay longer, and we hope to come again!

This is our second visit. We again really enjoyed our stay. The scenery and colors were really pretty. Went to Blue Ridge and rode the train. Stayed in Thursday to rest. Thanks, Gwen!

Loved it!

We enjoyed our stay at Snuffy's Shack. The cabin is cozy, peaceful and serene. Nice view of fall foliage. The cabin is really clean and comfortable. First trip in it is a little difficult to find. Follow owner's directions. Do not follow GPS. We would definitely stay again. Thank you Gwen.
