The private master suite includes a loft perched above the river rock fireplace where you can relax with a cup of morning coffee or glass of wine while taking in the breathtaking, unobstructed water views. You can also enjoy time on the deck surrounding three sides of the log house where you can enjoy the privacy, soaring eagle pair who reside in the cove area and incredible sunsets. Located on the edge of Fort Ebey State Park; the Mussel Beach house offers miles of great hiking trails, magnificent beach access and historic sites. Historic Coupeville is a five minute drive with its many fine restaurants and quaint shops.

My husband and I stayed at the Mussel Beach Log Home last August and just wanted to comment on the comfortable home and fantastic view overlooking Penn Cove. We truly enjoyed our stay and plan on returning this August again.

Our family had a great time at Whidbey. The log home was very nice, and the view was great. What a nice place to go to relax and enjoy nature. We loved the deck, and how close we were to Coupeville.
