The chalet sits on a wooded cliff site and the view is beautiful, no matter the season. The house has recently been decorated and luxury details are evident. All beds are 'allergy free' , bed linens are luxury quality, and all beds are outfitted with 'Touch of Down' pillows you see featured in the finer hotels. The large 27 ft renovated Pontoon boat, seen in picture below, is included with this rental. A hot tub is available once the weather turns cool. There are two master suites, one on the lower level and one on the top level. There are king size beds in both suites. One suite contains a garden tub and one a jacuzzi tub. The middle level of the home contains two additional bedrooms; one with a queen bed and one with two, low to the floor, twin beds. A leather sofa in the loft also contains a pullout bed. The house accommodates a maximum of 10 people.

Peaceful Lake with Great Water, one hour from Atlanta/ Atlanta Airport. Wonderful Getaway. This beautiful new luxury chalet has been recently decorated and boasts a wonderful covered rocking chair porch, two master suites, and kitchen facilities on two levels . View from rocking chair porch is beautiful and sunsets amazing to watch. Chalet is right above the water and around the corner from a marina & restaurant. Atlanta Motor Speedway is approx 30 minutes away. Atlanta and all its attractions including the new Aquarium are 60 minutes away. Small towns of Jackson, Griffin, McDonough, Monticello, and Conyers are all nearby and offer many opportunities for antiquing, dining, concerts on the square, & other small town pleasures. Bring your favorite boats/water toys or use the updated pontoon boat free with the rental. The FISHING is GREAT ! ! One of the best fishing spots on the lake is under the covered dock at this Lake Jackson Chalet.

Notes: Although children are welcome, water under the dock is 17+feet so life vests should be worn, whenever leaving the house. Security system has a door alarm which may be set to indicate when a door has been opened.

This lake front home is six miles from Jackson, Georgia where you can go antiquing (Ask for directions to the Green Gazebo!), bowling, golfing, and dining. It is about twelve miles from Locust Grove, Georgia and one of the best outlet malls in the south. Calloway's Restaurant and Reasor's Landing Marina are around the corner from the house for easy access to a boat ramp and great food. There are two great rooms with flat screen TVs. Wireless Internet is available. Kitchen facilities are available on two levels. There is wonderful rocking chair covered porch on the upper level and a tiled patio for grilling on the lower level. Storage room in basement is stocked with beach towels, fishing polls, etc. Rafts are available on the dock.

A large covered boathouse will accommodate up to a 27 foot boat. There is a swimming/sunning/fishing platform on one side. Bring your own boat/water toys or use the newly renovated 26ft pontoon boat free with the rental. Don't forget to bring your fishing gear!! The area under the dock is one of the best fishing spots on the lake.

Relaxing Vacation at Lake Jackson

The house was fantastic and comfortable for our group of 10! The view from the house was great--we saw deer, ducks, chipmunk, birds. The kids and adults enjoyed fun on the water including swimming at the dock, boating, tubing behind the boat. This was the first yearly family gathering where we didn't have to leave the vacation rental for fun....only left the house for groceries. We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Thanks for a great vacation.
