Puerto Morelos is located 20 minutes from Cancun and 20 minutes from Playa del Carmen. Although Puerto Morelos is near Cancun and Playa del Carmen, it is a laid back and quiet town. After your first or second day in town you will find that people will wave to you like you have lived here forever, it's just that kind of place. In a word, 'Friendly'. The town offers a variety of restaurants with food from all parts of the world. Activities abound in this tropical paradise. We rented this Casa, January 16th - 23rd, with our 2 small children. This property is absoluteley beautiful with a fantastic location.It is exceptionally decorated and very clean The town of Puerto Morelos is definitely a hidden treasure. The owner of the home is absolutely fantastic to deal with, he was prompt with responses, he got us a playpen, highchair & stroller to use during our stay. We will definitely be returning.
