Thank you Brad & Jo Anne. Our stay was wonderful. We were in Reno for a family Reunion – after researching it was more affordable for us to rent the Sierra Cheteau that for us to rent hotel rooms. The home was well equipped to handle our party of 14. Russ, was very friendly and helpful in getting us set up in the home. When we first arrived at the property – it appeared as if it was someone’s home and they had just stepped out to get something. The Home was very warm and inviting. From some of the pictures on the internet it appeared that it may have been a home that you could live in and but not use, but this home was very usable. The décor of the rooms were very inviting not stuffy. The bedrooms were very comfortable and cozy. We arrived at the house late in the evening around 10:00m PM – and after a 16 hour ride in the car all you wanted to do was eat, shower and go to bed. Kids and teenagers are not always aware of using the hot water sparingly but that was not a problem. There was still hot water after every one had showered. The kid enjoyed that games that were in the game room. That was a wonderful addition since we all know that kids can get restless. I would give our stay at the Sierra Cheteau a 5(five) star rating.

First, dealing with Brad and Jo Anne was an incredible experience. This was our first time using Home Away and we were a little nervous about doing everything on line. They were both extremely professional and very patient.

As for The Sierra Chateau - it was better than a 4 star hotel. The home is very well appointed and the bonus of having a game room complete with poker table & slot machine - not to mention dozens of games and TV for viewing the football games was incredible. The kitchen/family room is quite large and easily accommodated all the guests (25) we had on Saturday for the Graduation party.

Russ, the manager for Sierra Chateau, could not have been more helpful. When we had 2 additional guests and needed to use the rollaways he brought over extra linens and blankets lickty-split. He also arranged for a cleaning lady Sat morning so the entire house was 'model home' ready for our party. Just amazing the caliber of service and attention to detail.

We are planning another trip to Reno in the spring and will be staying at The Sierra Chateau again when we will be using all the facilities - the pool, golf course and tennis courts!

This was absolutely the best experience we have ever had in Reno! Judy & Ed

Beautiful

We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you. I was a little worried that it
might feel like we were living in someone else's space, and would not
feel like we were at home. That feeling could not have been further
from reality. Everyone felt very comfortable and relaxed. What a
beautiful home. There is so much attention to detail, and it is very
well appointed. It had all the niceties of home, but one did not have
to walk on egg shells and worry about "breaking the crystal vase" if
you know what I mean.
The bath baskets were a nice welcoming touch. What a surprise and how
thoughtful. That was just one more way that we were made to feel at
home. I felt that you really cared about our stay and ensured we had
everything we would need and more!
I thought the ornamental lights at night in the front was awesome. What
a brilliant idea! It made finding the home in the dark very easy. Again
I felt it was a nice touch to make sure all went well.

Next time we are in Reno, I hope your home is available, and that we
would be welcome.

P.S. A funny story. We were driving back from the convention center and my husband was saying that it would have been nice to have a room at the Atlantis, that way between my daughter's volleyball matches he could go up to the room and relax. As soon as we returned to Sierra Chateau, he admitted he did not know what he was talking about. The Sierra Chateau couldn't have been easier to relax and feel comfortable in. Sometimes the guys can be big critics and hard to please. They were both very happy with our choice.
