We also have a two bedroom condo in the building This oceanfront, corner, unit with floor to ceiling windows along two walls looks into the harbour in downtown Victoria. If you would like a larger unit or if this unit is booked, we have another unit in the building. We also can accommodate some two day rentals

Walk to all downtown amenities. Take in whale watching, kayaking, water taxi and biking right outside your door on the wharf. BBQ or relax on the roof top patio.

Located in the heart of downtown Victoria in the Mermaid building. On the waterfront of the harbour and the edge of the Gorge waterway, the Mermaid Building allows its guests to experience downtown Victoria, the Inner Harbour, the Gorge Waterway, the ocean, the upper part of the island and Vancouver, with ease.

Some of Victoria’s most popular restaurants surround the building, making it easy to have gourmet meals with out the worry of taxis or drinking and driving.

Take a Whale watching tour right outside the door. Or rent a kayak and glide through the harbour to the open ocean to discover the Pacific’s wild life. Or paddle up the Gorge waterway and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Salmon Fish with a charter or rent a power boat and just take it easy touring Victoria from the water’s perspective.

Just steps away, the harbour sea planes take passengers in a half hour flight to downtown Vancouver, offering great shopping on Robson street, Theatres, Stanley Park and more, and all in a day allowing one to return home for dinner.

The Mermaid neighbours Historic China Town with its many vegetable stores, restaurants and curio shops.

This multi-use trail, formerly a railway line, moves right beside the Mermaid Building, through urban, rural and wilderness scenery on its 55-kilometre journey from Victoria to Sooke. Whether you're commuting to work, meandering on a weekend afternoon or pacing yourself from Sidney to Sooke, the trail is yours to enjoy.

Catch the little Harbour Ferry stopping at the Mermaid and travel right up the Gorge waterway to Tillicum and down to the Empress.

Nothing has been spared in furnishing this space. It is fully equipped with a 32 inch flat screen Smart TV, DVD player, high speed internet and modem, microwave, dishwasher, stove, fridge, toaster, coffee maker, washing machine and dryer. The kitchen is fully equipped.

We have had such a great visit in your lovely city. Such a nice escape from the cold. We really enjoyed the magnificent sunsets. We found it so easy to walk everywhere. A real plus. Being right in the heart of the old town was lovely to enjoy the independent boutiques and restaurants. We would choose this part of the city again. The condo is so modern and beautifully equipped. Although the condo is not large, we did not feel cramped. Everything is full sized. We would like to recommend the condo to all. Please feel free to post this letter on your web site

A magnificent condo with a magnificent view in a perfect location.

I'm not sure what more I can say! STAY HERE IF YOURE COMING TO VICTORIA.

The city of Victoria winds down early in the evening, so you'll be glad to have a beautiful place to call home each night. We liked Victoria a lot, but almost felt that merely staying in this condo was vacation enough. Great restaurants a short walk away. All of downtown Victoria is walkable from here.

The owner was wonderfully diligent and accommodating.

You needn't look any further for a beautiful home away from home in Victoria.

What a fabulous holiday! The owner couldn't have been more helpful. We were blown away by the view and would hardly have needed to leave the apartment if we had been feeling lazy but there were so many opportunities to enjoy within walking distance-we walked the harbour ,took a seaplane ride, watched whales, visited the parliament buildings,park,museum,the castle,a famous house, went cycling on wonderful cycling paths,to a world famous garden, ate in china town and other lovely restaurants and always had the very clean,comfortable,well equipped,secure,romantic apartment with a balcony and rooftop bbq area to come back to.

Nice views in this great downtown location near Chinatown. Great views of the water taxis and rowing teams on the water. This is a clean and modern studio apartment close to shopping and restaurants and within 15 minutes walking distance of just about everything we wanted. The owner and house cleaner were very helpful, and we were happy to get a reasonably priced apartment on short notice. It included a parking space and the building has an elevator.

GREAT LOCATION! GREAT PLACE!

My husband and I enjoyed a fabulous 2 night stay-cation in downtown Victoria with this suite as our home base. It was roomy, clean and well appointed with a modern, open design and luxurious feel. Because of it's corner location on a working waterfront there was always plenty to see, and the suite is very conveniently located to many restaurants and pubs (in fact, there is a great, local pub across the street), and just a block walk to the cities downtown tourist core with all of its interesting shops, excellent attractions and views. Jeanie, the owner, was friendly and great fun to deal with, and was definitely the topper to the wonderful time we had during our stay.
