Enjoy the major city attractions and offerings of Boston: sports, arts, museums, fine dining, cruises, historic tours an easy drive or commuter rail trip away or explore the historic village of Salem and learn about the history of this important seaport or witchcraft. Seaside Gardens- We had a wonderful time!

This accommodation was one of the best we have ever stayed at. The owner, Wendy, is thoughtful and helpful. Every aspect has been well attended to, every detail was considered and the two night stay we had was only marred by the fact that we actually had to leave to go home... My mother, 85 years young, had no trouble navigating the property and strongly endorses the studio as a comfortable and very lovely place to stay. The gardens are bright and cheerful, (as a photographer I took loads of photos, and will have memories of Wendy's Seaside Gardens for years to come) I do hope we can return again next year. I must add that the bed was very comfortable, the kitchen was well-equipped for every need, and the wifi was excellent. The Air conditioner kept us cool and comfy. Thank you Wendy, we really enjoyed our get-away. Steps to town and beach-perfect! p.s. Wendy gave mom many craft and decorating ideas- the studio is very nicely and creatively decorated with Wendy's special touch:-) Thank you, Deb and Sophie, August 2012.

Great stay in Rockport

We just came back from Rockport after spending a week there and we could not have found a better place to stay than the Seaside Garden . Wendy was very helpful from the time of booking til we left ..She and her partner are very welcoming and enthusiastic about things to visit in the area . The studio was perfect location , clean and fully equipped . There is also a BBQ to use which was great . The studio is very close to the beach and restaurants /shops .
We would not hesitate to recommend this place .

Absolutely perfect!

We stayed here for 3 weeks this past summer, and it was a perfect location. The studio apartment had everything we could possibly need- comfortable beds, a small kitchenette with full fridge/ freezer, living space, and a window a/c that became essential during a brief heat wave. It was also very clean and well equipped, which was great on evenings when we chose to stay in to eat and watch a movie. There is no way you could get a room in local motel/ hotel that even compares with the extra space and comfort! Wendy made us extremely welcome, and was very helpful about local events/ attractions. Absolutely the best deal in Rockport, hands down.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

A lovely gem nestled in a village by the sea

I have been visiting Bearskin Neck for many years, and this studio is by far the most comfortable, clean, charming, conveniently located accomodation I've had the pleasure of staying at. Wendy is the perfect host - friendly and helpful, without being nosey or invasive. And she has with great stories about the local area. The studio is yards away from a beach, fantastic shops, art galleries, restaurants, a park and an interesting old cemetary. You can walk to everything, or hop in the car or on the train for a day trip to Salem, Boston, Gloucester Harbor and more.
The bathroom and modern shower seem brand new, the mattress is comfy, and the pull-out couch is cushioned (no wires/springs). The kitchen has everything you need. I would recommend this vacation rental to anyone! Thanks, Wendy, for a wonderful, relaxing getaway!
