History of the Cody House: Architect William F. Cody built the “Third Home on the Hill” in 1964 for inventor Stanley Goldberg. At this time, Architectural Digest showcased the home as a definitive example of contemporary desert architecture. Since 1964, the home has been modernized and upgraded, but has kept the mid-century sensibility by retaining furniture and artwork original to the era.
