Everything is fresh, clean, and new...including the furniture, kitchen supplies, and beautiful ceramic tile floors throughout. The bathrooms and closets are also new and well organized. Entire condo was freshly painted (same colors) in September 2010. New Washer & Dryer April 2012. New TV 47' Flat Screen added in 2013.
The romantic master bedroom also has a full wall of glass, leading out to the lanai. If you keep your bathroom door open, you can even see the ocean from your shower!
If you feel compelled to check your e-mail, or surf the internet, we have provided free wireless high-speed internet with secure access for your laptop so that you can use your computer on the over 23 foot lanai balcony that has direct and side views of the ocean and beach.
Shell collectors will love long walks on the Sanibel Island beach that is famous for the incredible variety and quantity of sea shells! Sanibel Island has been named as one of the top shelling beaches in Travel & Leisure magazine. Sanibel has also recently been featured on the Travel Channel and included in the '1,000 Places to See Before You Die' book.
This well-equipped condo includes special extra touches because we want you to have what you need for a fantastic vacation. Enjoy our high quality plush lanai furniture, new pillows and blankets. There is also a washer and dryer in the condo. Ceiling fans were installed in the bedrooms and lanai. If you love to cook you'll be delighted with the extensive high quality kitchen supplies. If you would rather leave the cooking to someone else, there are over 40 delicious restaurants on Sanibel. After dinner we have over 100 different movies from which you can choose to watch.
Sanibel Surfside only has 38 units, providing a calm and peaceful ambiance for your vacation. Most of the Sanibel Surfside owners are residents here and have been very friendly and welcoming to our guests. Children are welcome, but please do not bring their colorful markers to protect the expensive fine furnishings. They can swim in the pool and ocean, or build sand castles on the beach. The entire family can rent bikes (which can be delivered to you) and enjoy the bike friendly paths of Sanibel. We've also provided a variety of children's movies in our video library to give the adults some quiet time to enjoy the lanai views and sounds.
For your convenience we have a closet full of beach chairs, beach umbrella, pool/beach toys, coolers, beginner's tennis rackets, etc... for you to borrow during your vacation. So pack light, and enjoy our many extra amenities!
Are you a golfer?... There are 2 golf courses nearby. Do you enjoy tennis? There are 2 tennis courts (resurfaced Sept 2012) behind the pool area for Sanibel Surfside guests only. With only 38 units in this quaint peaceful complex, it is easy to find an available court. There are no tennis or shuffleboard fees.
There is a beautiful, uncrowded, refreshing heated pool!
Sanibel Surfside is also a SMOKE-FREE environment. The Condo's association by-laws do not allow smoking in the units, on the lanais, balconies, or anywhere near the pool. You can enjoy the fresh smell of the ocean breeze.
Sanibel Surfside was constructed before restrictions went into effect regarding how close you could be to the ocean. Thus, our condo is much closer to the water than most condo complexes. This is why you can enjoy hard-to-find unobstructed views down the coast line as well as directly out to the water.
We use the assistance of a local helpful & friendly rental property management company for many reasons. You can easily check-in to obtain your keys regardless of how late you might arrive on Sanibel. Also, they will quickly respond 24 hours a day if you are locked out or misplace your keys. Their professional office will handle any paperwork and safely/securely collect your deposit & rental payments. They can also help you with any requests you may have while staying in our condo. The rental management company has a complimentary computer and printer available to you in their large, beautiful lobby, if you need to print a boarding pass or an important e-mail. Their services help us to provide excellent customer service to our guests so that you may have a first-rate, relaxing, and worry-free vacation.
If you decide to be our guest we will instruct our rental property management company to subtract $35 from your rent to make up for their $35 booking fee.
Rental periods are always Saturday to Saturday (with Check-In at 3pm and Check-Out at 10am). Our condo association regulations do not allow guest reservations for less than one week. Sanibel is such a fantastic island that you will be glad you stayed at least a week! We can confirm reservations up to 52 weeks in advance.
