Welcome to our cozy and newly renovated vacation home. Our home is located in historic St. Cloud, Florida. It sits across from East Lake Toho, providing you with a sunny beach, bike and walking path, park, fishing peer, marina and restaurant for your daily enjoyment. St. Cloud is a small and quiet family oriented town just 25 minutes from Orlando International Airport, all major theme park attractions and shopping. With its motto of 'Celebrating Small Town Life' you will find our home and St. Cloud a great destination for you, family and friends year after year. Just minutes away, you can enjoy a round of golf, lunch or dinner at the Royal St. Cloud Links Course.
Close to everything, yet in a quiet surrounding.: Our home has the advantage of being close to all major area attractions, yet in a quiet small town setting. You can fill your days and nights with activities or you can simply sit by the lake and watch a beautiful sunset.
In February, 2011, I had to make an emergency decision to move to Florida to care for my sick mother. I purchased a house, however it would not be ready to move in until April.
I was able to find Terri's house on Home Away.com. It had 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, which was exactly what I needed. The house had a living room with 3 sofas, a side porch, back yard, washer and dryer and kitchen - all the comforts of home.
It was also a step away from a man-made beach which my sister loved and frequently visited to soak up the sun. In the early evenings we would take my mother on leisurely strolls on the extensive walking path. We also tried the nearby restaurant.

My husband and I rented this property for March 2011. We have family in the area. We were very pleased to find a newly refurbished home in this nontouristy hometown community. Everything was fresh and newly painted and very clean. The beds are extremely comfortable, a real plus. The family room has 3 sofas that have a total of 4 recliners built in to them. Comfortable seating, what a luxury in a rental property. A large flat screen TV with lots of channels provided many hours of entertainment. Other features, the side porch was nicely furnished and we spent a lot of time out there reading. The house is just steps from the St cloud man made white sand beach. I took my folding chair over many mornings to soak up some sun. Also, the lakefront area has an extensive walking path, perfect for getting some exercise.
There is a Walmart, several Publix markets and an Aldi nearby. Also, several nice restaurants are in the area.
Teri, the owner, was very responsive to our questions and we are returning in 2012 for 3 months.
Our home is steps away from East Lake Toho, which has marina, beach, play ground, bike path and restaurant. Visit St. Cloud's main street and enjoy antique shops, restaurants, movie theater and much more. St. Cloud is just east of Kissimmee. Disney is accessible via 192 or Osceola Parkway. Other theme parks are just 30 minutes away. Drive about an hour to the east and you will reach Kennedy Space Center and Port Canaveral, where you can board your next cruise. Go west and you will find the beautiful beaches of St. Petersburg and Clearwater and Tampa's Busch Gardens.
Golf: Royal St. Cloud Golf Links is just minutes from our home. It is an 18-hole Scottish links-style course with impeccably maintained fairways and greens. With interesting features like charming stone bridges, stacked sod and wood-faced bunkers, it will provide you with a great golfing experience. Golfers and neighbors of the area can enjoy their new restaurant, which is open for lunch and dinner.
