This apartment is located in the heart of one of Paris' most fashionable districts, Saint-Germain-des-Prés, 2 min away from the famous Hotel Lutetia and the « Bon Marché », arguably Paris's most well-known department store. It has just been completely renovated. All the equipment is new, including a high-end king size bed. This charming apartment is within walking distance of the river Seine, the Musée d'Orsay, Notre Dame Cathedral and the delightful boutique shops and designers' studios on the Left Bank.The street itself is quiet and the next street rue du Cherche midi, very animated. You will appreciate the authentic old Paris atmosphere with typical cafés and terraces, wine shops and a well-known organic open-air market, a few meters away on bd Raspail.

The rue du Regard is a very quiet street,rich of historic architecture. From the flat, you have the view on the hôtel de Beaune, that was built in 1719. Next to the rue du Regard is the animated Rue du Cherche–Midi, where there are a lot of restaurants. The Luxembourg gardens, the most elegant Parisian park and the ideal spot for jogging or picnic, is 10 mn away from the apartment. Place Saint Sulpice is 5 mn away. Carrefour de Buci with its cafes, flower markets, shops ans restaurants is 10mn away, as église Saint Germain des Près, the paris oldest church, and well-know cafés, Les deux Magots and Café de Flore on boulevard Saint-Germain.

A very quiet street: The rue du Regard is a very quiet street, rich of historic architecture. From the flat, uou have the view on the hôtel de Beaune, that was built in 1719. Next to the rue du Regard is the animated Rue du Cherche–Midi with a lot of shops (bakeries (famous Poilane), wine-shops, butchers, fish stores) and restaurants (there is a list of our favorite ones in our guest book).

The best open air market a few meters away: On Wednesday and Sunday mornings, there is a well-known organic open-air market, a few meters away on bd Raspail…

Perfection in Paris

This apartment is perfectly located in the 6th, beautifully maintained (it was just renovated) and on a lovely quiet street. There is plenty of light and a beautiful view of the Hotel de Beaune across the street. Numerous metro lines are nearby. Wonderful shopping on the Rue de Rennes and at Au Bon Marché (do not miss its incredible food halls).
The bed is extremely comfortable and all the furnishings are extremely tasteful. The owner was very helpful and accomodating. We will most definitely be back!
Owner's Response: we spent a lot of time in 2007, searching for our flat. We wanted the perfect location (a quiet strret in an animated central area), the view, the light...we are glad our guests enjoy it.

Cosy apartment for first visit to Paris

My husband and I just returned from our first visit to Paris, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this Rue du Regard apartment. Evelyne was very pleasant and helpful to deal with, and our reservation through HomeAway worked without a problem.
The apartment is in an excellent location, with many shops nearby, as well as Metro stops. We particularly enjoyed the Luxembourg Gardens that were just a few blocks away.
The stairs up to the fourth-floor were challenging at times, especially with suitcases when arriving, but they helped us justify the many croissants available from the nearby patisseries! The pictures on the website were exactly as the apartment looked, with no unpleasant surprises. It was neat, and clean, and very well cared for. We especially enjoyed being on the higher floor to capture the breezes at night, as well as the privacy and view.
We would not hesitate to recommend this apartment to anyone, as long as stairs are not a problem for them.

Perfect Little Apartment in a lovely part of Paris

My wife and teenage son stayed in this great apartment for 3 nights in mid-February.

The location is peaceful but very central and convenient for metro lines. The outlook from the apartment is wonderfully Parisian.

Furnishings are very tasteful with a pleasing mix of old and new. The beds are large and extremely comfortable and we had everything we needed for a really pleasant stay. The apartment was spotless and cosy for a winter stay.

Yes, the stairs would not suit everyone but actually being on the 5th floor makes you really feel like you're 'living' in Paris.

Evelyne was very genial and helpful. We would certainly return and would recommend the apartment wholeheartedly.

Lovely apartment in a lovely neighborhood

My husband and I just got back from our delayed honeymoon to Paris. I had been there before, but this was his first trip. We decided to get an apartment over a hotel because I wanted it to feel more "home-y" for him.

Evelyn has really outdone herself with this apartment. It is in a very nice neighborhood. Very close to 2 metro stations on different lines. A Monoprix grocery store right down the road. The furnishings are beyond comfortable. The apartment has WIFI. It is near a TON of great restaurants. Its is near the Jardin du Luxembourg. It is literally right around the corner from the Blvd Raspail Market.

The king size bed is a very nice plus. I must have looked at 100+ apartments with full/double size beds before we found this.

The only thing that I will caution is that this apartment is a 5th floor walk up. It was only a problem for us when we arrived and when we left. Carrying luggage up and down 5 flights of spiral staircases isn't the most fun! :)

The photos of the apartment are very accurate. The apartment was immaculate. Evelyn is very easy to get ahold of. She answered all of my questions quickly and accurately.
