This roomy (600 square foot) second-floor vacation home comfortably sleeps two. MARBLE tile bathroom access from foyer allows use without disturbing anyone sleeping. CHERRY WOOD floors add warmth. Fully equipped kitchen. Garden with POOL and for a quiet cocktail or swim. In the hub of South Beach's NIGHTLIFE, but apartment is located away from the street so restful sleep is possible.

South Beach has been a favorite vacation location for me for many, many years. The clubs and restaurants are superb, the ocean fantastic and the architecture perfect. And what a great mix of people.
I have been a frequent traveler to Miami for over 15 years and have always stayed on South Beach. This property is the best "over-all" place I have stayed based on it's cleanliness, location, easy check in/out procedures, cost, and the owners exceptional customer service. I have already recommended the property to other friends that frequent South Beach.
This place is perfectly situated for a stay in South Beach. It is ideally located between the heart of the Deco district, the Lincoln shopping area and the beach, all within walking distance. There is a shared-bike station right in front of the building, so you really don't need a car. Although few steps away from Espanola Way, the appartment is situated within the building such that you don't hear noise from the street.
The furniture, equipment and kitchen are very basic, but perfectly functionnal. You don't need more. AC is powerful enough for the hot and humid weather of the area. Sofa in the living room has seen better days.
The place is very spacious. In fact, with the proper furniture in the living room, this appartment could easily accomodate 4 people even if it is currently limited to 2. Be warned that the doors of the bathroom and bedroom are made of see-through glass. Not a big deal when traveling as a couple, but some people could find it surprising.
The owner and the manager are very accomodating and responsive. The few issues and questions we had were dealt with quiclky through e-mails and phone.

As has been mentioned in several other reviews, this property is IDEALLY located providing relatively short walks to EVERYTHING we love to do in South Beach: Española Way, Lincoln Rd, Ocean Dr...and, of course, the beach. The unit itself showed a little wear and tear, but it more than served our needs. And David and Marsha were very responsive, helpful (with where to grocery shop and park our rental car), accommodating, and patient (when we had a small credit card snafu). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to making this our annual base of operations!
This condo is in a perfect location in South Beach -- walking distance to almost everything. It is in a secure building in a good neighborhood. If you stay here, do not expect the Ritz. The unit is furnished modestly and shows some gentle wear. The kitchen has everything you could want to prepare meals -- but why bother when you are so close to so many great restaurants.
The condo is spotlessly clean. The local representative, Marsha, is a jewel. Due to long customs lines in Fort Lauderdale and my dead cell phone battery, we were 3 hours late. Marsha waited for us as there had been a change in the lockbox procedure -- what a gal!
Don't fail to take a glass of wine down to the pool garden and relax after a tough day in SoBe!

My husband and I just returned from a 2 week stay at The Hudson. Our first time staying in South Beach and we loved it! We did not have a car so we did lots of walking and exploring. The Metro system was easy to use for getting around town too.
The condo was within walking distance to Lincoln Road(2 blocks), local supermarket(one block), restaurants, shops, Espanola Way(one block), the beach and Ocean Drive(3 blocks), right around the corner from Washington Ave. to bus stops to Miami downtown and the Local South Beach bus(25 cents). West of the Hudson was the quieter neighborhood with more condos. Another nice walk.
The photos of the condo were just as it looked. It was neat and ready for us when we arrived. We only used the microwave and refrig. for breakfast/lunch and ate dinners out.
Nice shower. A coin washer/dryer was down the hall from the condo and very convenient as was an elevator. Nice simple lobby. Welcoming pool although we never used it. Not when there was the beach and ocean a nice 3 blocks walk nearby.
The lock box was new to us but easy to use and Marsha was very helpful in her directions.
David was also very helpful in answering my questions by email and always responded quickly.
Lime Fresh Mexican Grill on Alton Rd. had great fish tacos and margaritas. It's a 7 block walk. Bike and Roll on 10th St. or James St. has great segway tours and bike rentals. We did both and had fun seeing the sites. Havana 1957 Restaurant on Washington Ave. and Espanola Way had great mojitos and Cuban food. Caffe DiMauro is next door to the Hudson and has "free" wifi with a purchase and computers for use for a fee and also has varied menu open 24 hours. I only had a Kindle for travel use.
We would definitely come back and recommend it to others. Great location for everything!!
HORRIBLE experience at one of Homeway's rental in Miami. Filthy sofa bed. Poorly painted glass bathroom door gives NO privacy what so ever. Old rusted fridge. The owner lists this property as having a working dishwasher and internet, of course they are not. This is one of those nightmare scenarios none of us ever want to find ourselves in. The owner is nowhere to be found. He took my money and ran on vacation himself to Brazil (I am sure he booked a nice HOTEL with my money. The irony!!!. I called Homeaway to file a complaint. They were very professional but claim, they have NO control of situations like this. They are just a "listing site", the "middle man". Well, maybe next time I will book a hotel. Never again!! Buyer be ware! I will write more reviews on other platforms.
