RELAX - KANGAROO LAKEFRONT FAMILY GETAWAY

Baileys Harbor Estate Rental Photos and Description

2 Dwellings: 3BR/2BA House (Sleeps 6-8) and 1BR/1BA Cottage (Sleeps 2-4)

Located two miles south of Bailey’s Harbor, and in the center of Door County, our property sits on Kangaroo Lake, a 1100 acre lake on the quiet side of the Peninsula. Perfect for families, the House and yard provides space to spread out and relax. Grandparents or friends can join in the fun, or retreat to their own domain in the Cottage. For singles or couples, the Cottage offers the perfect, cozy, and affordable get-away spot.

A paddle-boat is available for use with adult supervision. Other watercraft: canoes, pontoon boats, jet-skis, and wind-surfers can be rented locally. The water is shallow at the shore - a safe spot for kids, and there is a fire-pit near the water. Remodeled portions of the House are handicap accessible and wheelchair friendly.

Door County offers its visitors a rare mix of culture, activities, and breathtaking natural beauty to be explored.

We have stayed here several times.

We rent both "homes" . Allows us to spread out a little bit and allows mother-in-law to have her own "space".

Beautiful view of the lake, shallow water off the peir is perfect for the kids to play in. The kids always fish off of the pier and have caught a few bluegills there. We bring a canoe and enjoy paddling around the lake.

We grill out every night and eat on the deck - it has rained a few times and there was always room inside to eat too. Lots of room for the kids to play board games or just hang out. We have a campfire at night near the lake - perfect way to end the evening.

The yard is open and great for volleyball or wiffleball games.

We have enjoyed our stay every year.

i have been going here for years - using both units. in the fall - october - to see the changing tree colors. i just love it.

a group of 10 + of us go (with small kids) each time and really enjoy the local festivals and local restaurants. it feels good to come back to the house and cottage and realx. both the property and the units are clean.

yard is huge and set far back from the road so any kids are safe running around the yard. plenty of room for a v-ball net, too. firepit at night is very nice with wood provided at the property.

if it rains, the house is big enough for everyone to hang out, cook and play cards. the main house has a large "great room" were everyone can easily socialize.

well located in a central location that makes a great "home base" when discovery door county.

if you don't mind bringing sheets, towels, etc - the price really beats a hotel and it's ON THE LAKE!
