At home away from home!

We spent the week of Thanksgiving in La Jolla to get away from the cold in Denver, play in the sand and visit with our family living in Hemet. We couldn't have chosen a better place to stay! Our kids (9 and 11) absolutely loved the proximity to the Windansea Beach and rain or shine spent hours each day splashing in the water, searching for creatures in tidal pools, watching the harbor seals or just playing in the sand. Mom and dad each found great routes for our morning jog and enjoyed catching up on our reading while the kids played. The Aloha Beach House exceeded our expectations for cleanliness and convenience. We cooked an entire Thanksgiving meal in the kitchen as well as most of the other meals we ate during our stay. The house was very tastefully decorated too with comfortable beds/bedding. All-in-all, we would do it again in a heartbeat.
