This is a 3 bedroom, 2 full bathroom home that sleeps 8 people.

Angel Fire is the perfect place for a vacation no matter what the season! If we happen to be booked, or you have a large party, please inquire with owner about the other homes being managed!

This is a great three bedroom, two bath, A-frame home conveniently located in the ski village, 4 blks to lifts! It is a fantastic location for both summer and winter activities. The main floor has a full kitchen, dining area that seats six, living room with wood burning fireplace, and laundry. There are two bedrooms downstairs and a full bath. The master suite is located upstairs, has a king size bed, and a private balcony. The master bath has a jetted tub, perfect after a long day of skiing or hiking. The large deck is a relaxing place for grilling, having a hot/cool beverage, watching the sunset and viewing wildlife. The home is well maintained, has all the amenities, and is decorated with tasteful Southwest/mountain decor

Winter Activities: skiing/recreation: Enjoy a day in the mountains and then come back to relax by the fire or out on the deck! Angel Fire offers skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, horse drawn sleigh rides, and tubing. Take the kids sledding with the saucers/discs provided or let them build a snowman in the yard. Take walks through the woods and enjoy the elk, deer, and other wildlife.

The home is 4 1/2 blocks to the slopes. There is a large parking area a couple blocks away, where a shuttle will pick you up and drop you off right at the lifts. The ski area is family friendly with a variety of green, blue, and black runs as well as terrain parks. Angel Fire is one of the few resorts offering night skiing. Those new to the mountain can enroll in ski or snowboard school for either private or group lessons. This A frame chalet has large windows facing the snow covered Wheeler Peak.

Summer Time Activities: Angel Fire is a really COOL place to escape the summer heat! The temps are in the 70's, humidity in the 20's...you can't get much better than that! There are many activities in the area to keep you busy: Spectacular hiking and mountain biking on any number scenic trails. Hike Wheeler Peak to over 13,000 feet or take a relaxed nature walk near town. There are plenty of places to rent bikes & gear. The area even hosts several mountain bike/road race events. There are trails on the ski mountain and you can take the scenic chair lift ride with your bike on the back. Other activities include: horseback riding, 4-wheeling, river rafting, tennis and fishing. For the kids there are playgrounds at the community center and at Olympic Park, a climbing wall at the base of the ski area, and paddle boats/row boats at Monte Verde Lake.

Located in the ski valley, about four blks away from the ski hill. Close to hiking, mountain biking, and skiing. The home is walking distance to one of Angel Fire's finest restaurants, The Roasted Clove.

Golf: Great GOLF at the Angel Fire Resort Golf Course and Country Club! It was rated as one of the top 5 courses in NM and one of the top high elevation courses in the country by Golf America. This is one of the nation's highest courses, at an elevation of about ,8600ft your ball is bound to go soaring! The longer playing layouts of the front nine wind through two unspoiled canyons of aspen and spruce. The signature 6th hole features a tee box soaring 200ft above the green 250 yards away. The back nine offers mountain meadow play with rolling fairways, meandering streams and plenty of bunkers to challenge every level of golfer. Season is May -Oct.

Ski: Are you ready for the SNOW? Angel Fire is a fabulous place to come and play in the snow. The beautiful, white fluffy snow covers the entire town and surrounding mountains. The ski area boasts NM's only two high speed quad chairlifts and 67 perfectly groomed trails. The lift will take you 2,000ft up the mountain so you can enjoy the trip down on uncrowded terrain. The ski area is open early Dec to late March (weather conditions permitting). Don't ski or board? You can still enjoy this winter wonderland in a horse-drawn sleigh ride, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, or cross country skiing. Again, there are plenty of places to rent gear and numerous guided tours.

  • No cleaning fee on four or more nights or more.
  • A $300 reservation/security deposit is required at the time of booking. This will secure your booking. It is not applied to your rent, but it will be refunded to you within 14 days of your stay, providing the house is left in an acceptable condition. 50% of the payment is due sixty(60) days in advance of your arrival. The remainder of the payment is due thirty (30) days prior to your arrival. The cleaning fee is included on stays four nights or longer. We do offer multi-week discounts. Call or e-mail for current specials and early booking discounts!
  • There is a non-refundable pet fee of $25 a night (short term stays) or $100 weekly, $150monthly stay.

Great vacation

This home made the vacation. This was a our first visit to see real snow and to Angel Fire, and being new to skiing the home was actually more important to us than the slopes.

This was a perfect chalet breath taking view of mountains and snow. Quick access to shuttle for slopes, and all the creature comforts of home. We played games and had a great time and this home made us all very comfortable. We will definitely be returning next year! Many thanks!

Little Snow STILL Great Vacation

Our ski trip to Angel Fire included 4 older teenagers. I was concerned that the lack of recent snow would hamper our plans. Not so! The mountain had plenty of snow and we enjoyed skiing in clear 38 degree weather. Very comfortable. The prior reviews of the house are all valid. The house had plenty of room; the linens were very comfortable, and we found just about anything we needed in the kitchen. We enjoyed playing Trivia Pursuit and Pictionary in the evenings. But mostly the location is perfect. The kids were able to get their ski gear and walk to the corner and catch the shuttle to the lifts. Great location! Great Vacation!

Thanksgiving enjoyed in Angel Fire

My family stayed at this home during the Thanksgiving week and really enjoyed it. The home is well appointed and well stocked. It was very comfortable. Very pretty views from the window, supported by 6 inches of snow we received the first night while there. The owner was very responsive to all of my e-mails and requests. We had a very enjoyable time.

Summer in Angel Fire

We just spent the week of June 14-19 at the Cunnison Chalet in Angel Fire. The house was perfect - clean, quiet, and in a great location. Very dog and child friendly! During our week, we visited Taos, Taos Ski Valley, Eagles Nest, and Red River. I would definitely recommend staying in Angel Fire as it seemed to have everything needed. The hiking and biking trails are accessble from the house and you could literally park your car and not get back in it for the week. There are not a lot of restaurants in town, but The Sunset Grill, Avalons and Angel Fired Pizza are all places we would recommend.

Super location!

My husband and I just spent a wonderful 2 weeks in this
charming chalet. We have never been in a better equipped
property. We could walk to restaurants, ski hill, and hiking.
It was immaculate and the views are lovely. Our puppies
loved the enclosed dog run. It really felt like home and we
hope to return soon.
