I would have appreciated a "sorry for the inconvenience" instead of the below, especially taking into account my other email (I'm assuming you received that as I never heard back from you). My wife and had to sleep downstairs the three nights as both of us have minor allergies and need to sleep with a window open. I would never have expected opening a window to be an issue going in. And if it was supposed to be fixed, I would like to think that's something you would check on before we arrived.

We really liked staying in that area, the complex is great and your condo is very nice. But the window issues, combined with the lack of basic cleanliness all over the condo, had has second guessing our choice.

It appeared it hadn't been cleaned in a very long time. What should I have expected as far as basic cleanliness? Were you aware of the condition it was in?

The trip is over so I've moved on but I did feel compelled to let you know we were dissatisfied with many, what I consider, baseline issues.

Related to the below, in the bedroom with the larger television, none of the windows can be opened. One is the window mentioned below, one doesn't open at all and the third one, the crank and screen are broken. It's rather warm up here tonight...it's too bad I can't open the two windows that could be opened.

And not to pile on, but it was quite messy when we got here: hair in the bathroom sink, stains on two of the toilets, crumbs in the kitchen and dinning room table, the stove hadn't been cleaned, we found mouse droppings in one of the bathrooms..we spent our first hour here cleaning.

Had I known that would be an issue, I would have paid a cleaning fee BEFORE I got here.

There is a broken window in one of the bedrooms - there isn't a screen and the actual window is off so that there is space between the frame and the window. I'm going to have to do something to prevent bugs from coming in.

In addition, several of the windows don't have cranks so I can't open them.

Our family has rented this home several times each year for the past two years from weekends to an entire week and enjoyed our stay every time. When we arrive this townhouse is always clean and it tastefully decorated inside. This home offers many amenities and is fully stocked with all the supplies you will need for a very comfortable, relaxing, and enjoyable vacation.This resort has it all even on those days that the weather just won't cooperate there is always something to keep the family entertained. Based on the previous renters review I must say that we have never encountered this description that he has given on the condition of this home and obviously we wouldn't be repeat renters if we experienced this during our stays..Quite honestly this owner has done many home improvement upgrades this year and takes very good care of his property and he is a pleasure to do business with as well.
