Wellfleet Vacation Rental house

We spend the weekend of Sept. 25, 2009, in this fantastic house. The views of the marsh and water are unbelievable and the beauty of Lt. Island itself is so much fun to explore. We hiked the trails and beaches on the island itself. There are many more trails just off the island, too, that sound inviting and downtown Wellfleet is only about 10 minutes (and another world) away. This house is lovely. There are sliding glass doors everywhere which let you take in the amazing view. In the summer I would imagine the entire house can be opened up to the breeze because there were screens in all of them. The king bed we slept in was incredibly comfortable, the kitchen was well outfitted, the bathrooms clean and there was lots of open space to just hang out in. The house was spotless and very comfortable, with several couches and chairs and a fireplace in the kitchen/sitting room area. The outside decks were great, too; casual but comfortable chairs and several nooks on the front and back of the house to sit in and find privacy for reading a book or just gazing at the water. All in all, a wonderful rental house and David was a gracious and generous host.
