St Pete Beach Vacation Rental house

This is just a perfect location if you are looking for a mix of solitude and convenience. The house is beautiful. The neighborhood is very quiet. We jogged and/or walked to the beach most mornings. The pool is a little small but aesthetically pleasing with its rock waterfall. Many of the homes in this area only have a view of a very narrow intercoastal channel. Here there is a great view of a large bay from every room on the front of the house. There were plenty of dolphins to see. We also saw 2 manatee swimming by. There are many starfish on the beach during low tide. My son and I caught about 20 fish off the end of the dock. We used shrimp and squid from a nearby West Marine for bait. (Watch out for the hardhead catfish - they are abundant and have a toxic dorsal spike that I experienced 1st hand.) There is fairly constant boat traffic that I thoroughly enjoyed - the weekends were busy. If you are looking for restaurants drive about .5 mile and there are 2 decent waterfront local atmosphere places (Wharf and Sea Critters). Drive another .2 mile and you are at a very nice white sand beach (Pass-A-Grille) and more restaurants. The supermarket is only a few miles away (Publix) and there are plenty of gift shops nearby if interested. There is also JohnsPass at Treasure Island about 8 miles away with many gift shops and a few restaurants. We ate at Sculley's and enjoyed it. I just cannot think of anything we required that was not close. This was without ever experiencing anything but relaxation while at the house. If you can find some time to get away book it here. You will not be disappointed. The owner was professional and courteous.

We were looking for a quiet get-away-from-it-all property to kick back after a frantic week at Disney. This was perfect. The location was very peaceful, and the house was just as described. It was great just watching the boats go past or fishing from the private jetty. It was a good spot for dolphin spotting too! The kids enjoyed the pool, although it was a bit chilly as the pool is shaded by palms for most of the day, but probably very welcome at the height of the summer.
Pass a grille is laid back, informal and friendly. The beaches are excellent, just a couple of minutes drive or a slightly longer bike ride away. The Hurricane restaurant was great for eating great local seafood while watching the sunsets, and the sunset grille (snacks/drinks on the beach) had live music most evenings. The owner was very helpful and everything went without a hitch!

Finally a house where the pictures do it justice! So many times you see photos of a property that look fantastic but then you find the surrounding area is not what you expected or something else is wrong. Not here. This
place is gorgeous in every way. private and secluded yet not far away from whatever places you might want to visit. Many places to eat within minutes and the beach is so close and quiet. No crowds and plenty sand and calm blue
water. Spent many hours in the heated pool under the waterfall. Very tropical. We sat on the dock and watched the boats cruise by and fished and crabbed. Got some nice stone crab claws for dinner. Great little park around
the corner with playground for the kids or adults as there are lit tennis courts and basketball.On the one rainy day we had, we played Playstation games and watched DVD's and ate at a great little restaurant called Skidders. Anything on the menu is great and not expensive Can't wait to come back!
